Which Zerg units do you think are going to be released when the announcement is made? Is blizzard gonna keep it simple, or are they going all-out on this one?

cant vote on this one >.< b/c iam pretty sure their going to release their zergs just like they released the terrans. It'll most likely be a bundle pack with lings/hydra/muta/nydus/mayb ultralisk/banelings/and 1 new unit. So basically everything we've already seen and cofirmed+ something to keep us interested or intrigued.

I suppose they'd go with a big bang and show a few units (and eventually a few buildings) to stir up some reaction like they did when they disclosed SC2 with the 'Tossies. :)

Well, I'm sure the Ultralisk is out of the question since it's still under the big Blizzard question mark (http://www.matrixbusinesscoaching.com/Pictures/fotolia_QuestionMark.jpg)...
The Nydus Worm will probably appear later since it's a brand new unit and other new units as well, so my guess is Zerglings/Banelings and Hydralisks first. Mutalisks right after that.

I bet they show the Ling, Hydra, and a new unit.. and 1 building. Makes sense to me.

I don't think they are going to release one single unit, they're going to do a bundle of units. I think it'll be 'Lings, B'lings (lol), Hydras, and Mutas (possibly Worms, though they're not as likely). Unless you're talking about which unit of the bundle they will release first, probably the classic 'Ling.

Hopefully the first we're going to see of the zerg is a gameplay demonstration.

lolz B'lings, took me a while to get it bludsyko
I declare 'bling' the offical shortened name (toss, rine, hydra, bat, etc.) of the Baneling
btw, WTF is a baneling?

whatever the first unit is, its probabaly a type of ling, (no mutaling or ultraling o'course) and that ling better be good. The problem with SC1 is that even though upgraded lings were powerful, early rushes were stopped by clogging ramps since the lings could not all attack at the same time unlike rines. blings should be super small but even more numerous so they could crawl over and under things
dont say that is imbalanced because terran and protoss will be better also

Um...watch the Protoss GP video from WWI, most everyone else has seen it.

Yes , I hope so as well. I really liked the previous two 'movies', so I hope they release another one.

well they've released the bread and butter units first.
-zealot
-marine

then a new crazy unit that replaced the old one

-immortal
-reaper

so i'm guessing lings or hydras then some sort of new unit that replaces maybe lurkers?

I think the Zergling, Muta and Nydus worm, and possibly the new Hydra will be released, the same way the Terrans were introduced.

Zergling. Massive ling swarms pwn everything.

Zerglings released first, then hydralisk replacement. (anyone noticed the lack of hydralisks in the gameplay videos?)

Yeah, but I really don't think the Hydra is being replaced. Of course, we were wrong about the Wraith...

The gameplay videos so far don't really prove anything, as there's been a distinct lack of Zerg in general.

There were quite a few in the artwork, and in the cinematic trailer. I'm quite sure there will be hydras in SCII.

Or any air units with a ground attack.

Well, no one really called em B'lings in SC1 anyways...

Nobody really sees broodlings in SC1 period.

Zergling. So obv.

The quintessential Zerg unit, everybody wants to know how the boys have been doing since we saw them eating up marines in our last installation.

Zergling is obvious, though they might include broodling as part of the zergling page on SC2.com, rather than having 2 pages. (Will lurker, guardian, and devourer have their own pages? If they exist, of course).

As long as we get cracklings also
And wow you have a lot of balls

This thread is kinda done, since they were 'released'
