Do you belive in god or in science??? In religion or in facts??? In things wrote in books or in things that scientist find out???

I for one am for the science. It seems imposible and improbabile everything i learned at Religious Education these 4 years. If it would have been true, there would have been signs, wich don't exist...

How about you? In what do you belive? Science or God? oh... and put the reason too

God or Science? Sorry, but you can't split it like that. For me (and I know I'm not the only one) it's God and Science. Science provides us with answers to questions in the physical realm; religion provides answers to questions regarding morals, the afterlife, and, yes, God. Religion provides what science cannot, and vice-versa. It's like Yin and Yang.

Isn't the 'Why god?' thread there already for this kind of conversation?

Anyway, I don't believe in God. I refuse to believe in some book someone wrote 2000 years ago.

I agree with dutch...
:P the events depicted in the bible are most improbable

Then I would almost say, read some history. And I don't mean the bible history. Get some other book that tells of Jewish, Egyptian, Roman, etc history. I would almost bet that events would match, validating parts of the bible. The history parts anyway.

I like both. I believe in God and in science. But it's like anything in this human world: anything can be corrupt in any fashion. Even science and even religion. Whether or not God is the true religion ( and I think it is), it's that it can be corrupted...

I don't like the way this one is done. It makes it sound like either you're a Christian or you're an Atheist... How about neither?

Furthermore, this thread's topic isn't written as a discussion question, but rather a yes/no poll, and thus more appropriate for the general or games forums. I also find the dualization of the subject matter offensive.

Somebody plz close this thread down...the last thing we need is a another religion thread...1 is enough...and the creator of this thread clearly didn't use any real effort in creating it since its filled with spelling errors and incomplete sentences...

I believe in him. When I pray, and ask for impossible signs they happen. And good things always happen to me when I pray.

It is not a choice between God and science; one does not rule out the other.

Is that to say that you do not believe in History in general? :P The Bible, which I have to assume you are directing your comment toward, is not a single book, but a collection of writings (most written more than 2000 years ago) that all point to the same thing. And, there are other books (other than those in the Bible) that record the same events, therefore providing more evidence that those events occurred. Archeology also proves that many of the places that are spoken of in the Bible did exist. If this thread is still open come Sunday night, I'll be able to give direct references.

Do you belive in god or in science???
I believe in both, as both exist.

In religion or in facts??? If you are as educated in this area as you claim, you would know science deals with theory, not fact.

In things wrote in books or in things that scientist find out???Is that to say that once a truth is written in a book, it can no longer be believed? And what can a scientist "find out" that is not known to God?

A week? C'mon, I know I'm not exactly Suzy-On-Top-Of-It or anything lately, but a week?

Geez.
