After playing Halaa a lot and finally hosting my first 25 man raid on it, I'm a little hungry for some more variety. I'd like to say that I've conquered all major PvP areas, just because I like kicking ass and soon I may run out of bubble gum.
So, if you would, name a few of your favorite PvP areas and possible prizes. Name some places you go to mix it up when you want to get some revenge and potential Nemeses. I've heard a few places thrown around here and there, but unfortunately most of the ones I'm hearing about feature such comments as "Gank Lowbies". While the occasional hazing ritual may be fun, I do not intend to spend any significant portion of my life spreading misery for no reason.
I prefer a challenge, and definitely a reward. The only thing that differentiates this game from something more immediately entertaining (like TF2) is that when I turn the computer on, I get to start from where I quit last time. I want honor, tokens, or some other prize to shine on my vest.
Name, Area, Reward, Activity
Ex:
Halaa, Nagrand next to Shatty, Halaa Tokens, Bombing Guards and PvP

Place: Crossroads
Objective: Upset Horde
Challenge: No close backup from Alliance, Org and TB next to XRoads. When pillaged for a length of time (Depends on server) usually Horde send a good amount of backup there to defend it.
I've had as little as maybe 10 minutes before 5+ Horde showed up, and I've waited as long as 30 or so before someone decided to take me. Either way, when one horde comes on our server, usually a LOT of them come. Mostly due to the overpopulation of the Alliance (4:1 playing). This means that they have to stick together and obliterate who they can.
Overall, if you've not done it before, I'd say it'll be a 3/10 until Horde show up (Gogo NPC killing and random lowbies). Once Horde show up, depending on numbers, it can become a 1:10 (IE: five thousand show up and you can't even res without dying instantly) to about a 9 or 10/10, just because you'll get 2 or 3 crafty ones that you can screw around with.
That's still one of my favorite spots.

I am going to try to organize a raid on Orgrimmar at some point soon (now that my computer can handle it). There's no decisive reward, per se, but at least for me it would be well worth it. I have some friends in guild leadership that might be able to help find enough people to make it feasible. I think we'd need at least 20 or so geared 70's. One thing I do not know is whether or not the bosses themselves scale to 70 - if Thrall is treated like a 60, this wouldn't really be an accomplishment.
The only guild on Arthas that ever did it was Retribution. They killed Thrall in prime time, back when they and Aurora were still on the server. Arthas horde isn't the same, now that so many of the stronger guilds are gone, but I think it would be fun.
First thing to do though would be to get a few people and just see if the servers can handle the lag. Back when Ret did it, you could barely walk through Ironforge without lagging - going into a Horde city and starting a riot would boot half the people off the server. I still don't know how they pulled it off - not to even get started on the obvious horde interference.
EDIT: If it worked out, we could keep it going and take out the Undercity, TB and Silvermoon. Maybe get horde retaliation. Could be fun.

I know ganking lowbies sounds boring and sounds like a huge a waste of time, but there's reason behind it. I typically gank lowbies in order to draw out some competition. In the smaller cities, the opposition will usually trickle in and will be unorganized, so you can end up corpse camping 2-3 70s with relative ease (assuming you have some decent gear/stam/resilience).
As a horde, places like darkshire are key. They're close to a major city, so it's easy for people to get to in order to 'defend' from the horde meanie ganking all the lowbies. You can also easily hop onto the roofs from the southern end of town and harass. Even more, you can camp the flight path without any worry of aggro'ing guards.
I'm not sure of any ally equivalents because I never really bothered with pvp with my ally toons. But on that note, most early yellow areas for horde should work.

Basically if you decide to go gank lowbies, do it in an area that is going to have both horde and alli cities. You'll get some competition soon enough.

I like The Stormspire in Netherstorm, ya know, out and around the jungle floor.
The scenery is great and it's full of lvl 68-69s.
One time I found a 69 druid running around in travel form. wtf? so i put on my lvl 60 pvp boots and chased him down in ghost wolf.
Another place that's great is around the violet tower there. That place is always crowded.
