I want to no how to add spells to a marine like mind control. i got all the programs needed and dont no wut to do. i went here to seak a answer and didnt answer stand it fully. http://www.stormcoast-fortress.net

So can anyone help me adding this spell?

First, you need to give the marine energy in arsenal III (advanced tab, i think. If i remember correctly), then you need to give him a spell animation by modifing the iscript, but i can't tell you how to do that using ICE, as i use IceCC. Then, you need to use StarGraft or the new memgraft and give him the spell button, give him the proper number of commands, and also, you need to enable that spell for use by the Marine in the Requirements section. I don't know if that helps, but it will show you that you need some experience.

Ok I got a new problem When i use Icecc and try to decomplile any unit like a medic or dropship all it says is this

Icedc: error loading config files failed: coult not open C:\iceCC\data\arr\units.dat

So i cant pick any unit, decompile it without this error, Can Any1 help me?

Thats a simple problem, just make sutre that your icecc is installed in C:/Icecc

this might be a bit off topic but..... i got a problem with this program memgraph, i no it dont work cuz sc was updated to 1.11b but i have this .mgp file. i used to have .mem but i converted it with memgragh. so all's i got is that .mgp file and i try to load mpq draft. then i go to step 3. and i am "spose to load that 1 file for this plugin named "MemGraft.qdp" and chose my plug in right, well this wut happens. i chose that file and nothing happens, nothing at all. i am left choosing the same folder and nothing happens.


in case u no wut i am trying to do with this i am trying to make a supply depot build civs. not that hard. but this is file or something else i do not no is messing me up.


So can Any1 Help me> O.o

Actually with the new MemGraft for 1.11b, you can make SEMPQs anymore with it. It requires using an EXE/MPQ combo. The MGP is just like a PAT file, it's just a file where is stores the information so you can work on it again.

Open up your MGP file and go to the Misc and change the patch_rt.mpq to the name of your MPQ. After, you use Save Release instead of Save. When it tells you to save a file as a MGD, save it as mgpatch.mgd and the EXE, you can save it as whatever you want.

Once you have the those, open up your MPQ and insert the file mgpatch.mgd with custom\ as the file name, it should look like custom\mgpatch.mgd after.

After you're done with that the your MPQ and the EXE you saved with MemGraft into your StarCraft folder and run that MPQ.

You may know after you opened the game there are things missing. This because MemGraft has told the game to use your MPQ instead of the up to date patch_rt.mpq. You basically have to take all this files that you didn't change from the patch_rt.mpq and place them into your own MPQ.

You no i didnt understand this part of ur message, or am not doing it right. I run my Mpq after i am done and nohting is changed. nohing at all. so i may have gotten these steps wronge can u give me a little bit more detail?

If you open up your MPQ and there is a file called custom\mgpatch.mgd then you inserted it right. After you did that, take the EXE file you saved from MemGraft and your MPQ and place them into your Starcraft folder.

Ok, I know what I wrote wrong with that. You don't run the MPQ, you run the EXE instead.

If you need help merging the 1.11b patch_rt.mpq and your MPQ, I'll post up a tutorial maybe.

Ok i have a "question". This is a Different matter. On Any mods You or i make, In the main file their should be sub files called Arr and Rez. I would like to know any other "sub File names" so my mod could work right without fail in the future

It probably be best that you look at the BrooDat.mpq and StarDat.mpq to see what they are, sicne there are many.
