Recently I discovered this,lets you chat and chat and chat.
What about we have this somewhere on the site?

If you can't use the browser based client you can always just download (http://www.mirc.com/) one.

I can't use IRC from school due to the firewalls. Sure, I can tunnel into one of my GNU/Linux boxes back home, but that's not optimal.

I'm pretty sure we had a shoutbox at some point. Can't remember what went down with it, though.

Don't recall it as such. I do remind a IRC channel activity window, though (next to the b-days n' logged in users ones). :)

another, more lightweight and.. perhaps manageable solution would be to have a simple shoutbox relay between irc and the forums. it'd show the last 5-10 shouts (and irc messages) and let the forum users shout, too. bonus points for AJAX.

Seriously though. Seal does such a thing exist? that might be fun to see in action. rofl, maybe maybe if I could figure out where to start, people could "shout" through neobot XD
