Hy silent-killings,

If u'd search on www.google.com 4 the stormcoast fortress site, it should solve ur problem at ease. Most of modding tools are there, even not being my main site where I pulled them off / dl (= 2 download)!
If that doesn't work anyway try the following: Serach again (in google) 4 the scmdraft2 app. It's another SC Map Editor built from scratch. I use SC X-tra editor 2.6 and am happy with it... If u have problems with ur SC X-tra like I did (AI scripts in blank not showing their content), try uninstalling it. Reinstall it only after the previous uninstalation is complete. That solved my probs....
Hope I was a useful help, Basan.

SCMDraft (2) and SF can help you with square terrain (or ISOM). The thing is that once you place square terrain it modifies the map somehow (hell if I know how) so that you can only place square terrain there after. SCMDraft 2 and SF2 can place Isometric terrain after conversion but they are kinda buggy. Best to place all square terrain last.

Anyways all these programs can be found under the 'starcraft editing reference thhread'. Basic unit placement, triggers and normal modifications should be compatibal with all editors.

erm, SFs isometrical terrain is always buggy. I didnt know that placing square terrain with other things caused you to not be able to place isometrical terrain anymore...

What I meant is they are the only editors that can place isometric terrain after conversion. But as usuall they are buggy.

SCMDraft (2) is best for square terrain. There is even a tileset master palette available, that lets you place partial doodads and such. But for isometric, stick with good ol' StarEdit, or SCXE.
