This is a little thread to get an idea about what everybody has and what they're doing. I wanted to get a clearer understanding of what everybody's playing and who's doing what. I also need a good place to bounce ideas off of some people and try to work some people together for fun stuff.
My char: Hushedcrush
Feral Druid on Arthas.
I've got First Aid, Leatherworking, and Skinning.
I'll be ditching First Aid for something better in the near future, though I don't have any ideas right now.
I mostly run around Nether goldfarming, and do BGs for honor.
I'm looking for a teammate for arena, and I'm looking to check out the results of my DPS vs. armor chart that I've worked together for optimal time spent vs. DPS + armor. It's some crazy stuff, but it's a hoot.
Who else does what? I'm still trying to decipher Scottie's post about Clefthoof.

What faction are you?
I play a 70 paladin named Pirate on Arthas-US. I mainly do very little because I'm too busy with school, but I will eventually (likely) pick up Zul'Aman and get back into arenas and PvP.
I'm a commander from the old system and I always think PvP over all else, although it's frustrating as a paladin solo.
Also leveling Pirate, 63 Tauren Warrior on Rivendare-US. I have an inactive 60 Night Elf warrior on Arthas that I may play in the future.

Lets see...
The main character that I usually play is my Alliance 70 Druid, Athran. Currently 1/0/60 Resto spec. I also have tanking, feral dps and spell damage sets to use whenever I want to respec.
I have Alchemy and Herbalism as my Primary Professions. (you can't drop First Aid since it is a secondary profession which are unlimited unlike the 2 primary) I mostly fly around for herbs when I have time and maybe farm some primals to transmute to a primal might and make some gold selling those.
I used to raid SSC/TK until my guild fell apart because people were busy with RL so most decided to take a break. Mostly now I just do dailys for gold and help run new guildies through kara since the new leader wants to rebuild. Though I haven't really bothered showing up that much lately since I've been busy with school. I'm waiting on 2.3 for Zul'Aman, heroic badges from kara/za and a faster leveling curve for my alts.
I do some BGs when I'm bored or during AV weekend which is about 500 honor per game and usually last around 20 minutes, so it's quick and easy honor. I did some arenas during season1 but not anymore now.
Some other characters I have is my 70 hunter (engineering/enchanting) which I played pre-tbc and raided from MC to Naxx but I got bored playing him so I stopped after reaching 70. I also have a 70 mage (tailroing/mining) but I just quest with him whenever I have time. Multiple low level alts too which I am leveling right now.
"Imabug" on US-Cenarius.
Level 70 Druid
Spec: 27 / 0 / 34 Hybrid Restoration
Professions:
Mining - 375
Herbalism - 375
First Aid - 375
Cooking - 375
Fishing - 371 (ALMOST >.<)
Gearset: Mostly Tier 4 / Tier 5 setup
Currently my most active toon. I have some lower level ones as well, but this be mah main. Mostly just herb / mine everything in sight for cash (Can make anywhere between 20g to 100g an hour on a slow or busy day) or for my own personal use (IE: Prospecting, potions, etc). Currently raiding SSC / TK, we're right now going for a Vashj kill. God I hate striders now. With a passion. Oh, and elementals. I kill every one I see in Zangar because of that stupid fight -.-.
Mostly just a laid back healer, though. The spec is one of my own variances on cookie cutter hybrids, with my pesronal improvements into it, forcing every single point (Minus 3 wasted ones) in Balance and Restoration to create an efficient hybrid class, capable of main healing, off-healing, or adding in minor DPS to any fight and being effective at it. Staying mobile is king, and keeping HoTs active, while using Healing Touch as backup provides key efficiency to the build, allowing it to even outheal a tree-spec'd Druid, while still allowing full mobility, necessary talents, all while maintaining the ability to provide lethal DPS when equipped properly.
Long story short: You need a healer, I'm in. Need some DPS? I'll do that to. Maybe not as great as a mage in T5 or T6, but I can crank some out. Need a tank? Go bother a Feral.

I'm Alliance. Everybody and their dog seems to like hoarde better, so I'm of course going to go for the underdog. Additionally, it provides a lot more newbs to kill since every one of them assume that Hoarde is better with a pitiful understanding of the game. I have as of yet to have the opportunity to prove any of this, but hey. I'm hoping for Arena action sooner rather than later. And I've added Maeg's alts to my Flist.
Geno, why don't you just go Moonkin? :S

GA, two things about First Aid. 1) It's really good to have for any class, and 2) you have no limit on secondary professions, and First Aid is a secondary profession. There's no reason not to grab it.
Here's my stuff. For my main, at least.
Name: Koael (rhymes with Troll)
Race: Troll (rhymes with Koael)
Class/Spec: Warrior/Fury
Professions: Blacksmithing (375), Mining (375)
Level: 70
Server: Lightninghoof
Nothing at all: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
You can see my other characters in the WoW drop down menu.
My current activities with my characters are pretty much just leveling them, or in Koael's case, raiding the shit out of things. We're getting higher and higher every week, so it's a happy time for my guild. I also like to take trips to Hillsbrad and gank the fuck out of the lowbies.

My main:
Hermodamus
The Underbog
70 Nelf Hunter
BM: 42/17/2 (I fucked up my spec, and don't feel like spending gold to fix it)
375 Herbalism/Alchemy
Jassa
The Underbog
70 Nelf Druid
0/47/14
375 Skinning/Leatherworking
I mostly play Hermodamus, as I only leveled Jassa while my old guild needed healers and we were raiding (I use the term rather loosely here) Kara twice a week.
Now I'm in a different guild, raiding 3-4 nights a week. My guild is currently working on clearing SSC (1/6) and we're 2/4 in TK. Since my guild doesn't really do Kara as official raids (we're left to kind of set it up on our own time) I'm slowly getting Jassa geared up to go resto.
I pee vee pee in my spare time, I've had a couple of decent rated teams and I've got a fair amount of gladiator gear hanging around my inventory.
Geno, why don't you just go Moonkin? :S
I went Moonkin in pre-BC very successfully at level 60. After they implimented it in 1.8, I spec'd over to it. My guild was very supportive of me, and I was one of three fully raid viable Moonkin on the server before BC actually hit. I was the best geared by a longshot with over 650 raw damage, 20% crit and about 4-5% hit. Granted my hit was low, but it was effective.
Moonkin became boring after over 12 months of domination on the server. I didn't have any challenge of beating other Moonkin, because there WERE no real other Moonkin. The only other one close to my skill or gear was Lauror from another guild. We became good friends, though, and always competed on damage, best crits, and such.
After BC, I went into my hybrid spec, which you see now, better reflecting my play, and shifting from a primary DPS role to a fully functional hybrid healer. Funny enough, Lauror left his guild and joined ours, and is currently the best geared raiding Moonkin on the server (Thank God I retired, eh?). Granted, our progression isn't exactly "Hardcore," but for raiding 3 days a week, and the guild forming maybe 6 months ago? Not too shabby, I say.
But yea, been there, done that, was best on server, got bored, changed spec. Gogo Druid!

Maybe you should move up to a higher pop server. :/Well most servers won't have that many serious moonkins. You get the occasional odd guy who levels boomkin (like I did with Jassa) but once you get to later content, they're kind of useless when compared to other caster classes. But moonkin druids are kind of the lol spec, similar to ret pallies or shadowstep rogues.
They still hold a fair amount of viability in PvP, but even then you have to be fairly well-geared to even make a difference. Unfortunately, the only really good non-25-man gear for Boomkins is usually mage/warlock pieces, which considering the 400% armor bonus is a shame, because then you're basically at the level of a mail-wearer, instead of plate.

It turns out my account was hacked, iv emailed blizzard about it but i dont think ill get a responce :(Their responses to hacked accounts tend to be pretty bad. What I'd do would be to find your CD key immediately and have it ready, since that's their main way to make sure it's you. Once you have that, make sure that you have access to the original e-mail account that you registered the account to. With both of those things there should be a decent chance of at least getting the character back.
In terms of lost/denched/sold gear, if you get your PW back, they'll probably restore you to a certain point of time. While you may lose some gear, you'll at least get most of it back. Blizzard, for all their failings, tends to respond pretty well to hacked accounts.

o_O
You're right though, they can usually get your shit back. If you haven't already, get on a different pc and try to change your password (secret question, etc.). Do not log in on the first pc, especially if you got keylogged. They will generally work out the rest, I've heard a lot of success stories.

I'm trying to figure out how you got scammed. What are you doing, d/ling third party programs and trying to use them to get an edge? In this day and age of computer security nightmares, I'm really trying to figure out why you'd download some homemade programs to install that you found on the Internet. My friend got his account back very quickly after he told the Blizzard reps that it was stolen from him. He lied, though, since he sold that account and it got locked for goldfarming.
But so anyway, I think you can get your acct back as long as you don't sound like a childish douche and lie about having d/l'ed programs. Because let's be honest: that's pretty much the only way they could have gotten your key and PW.

People post fairly deceptive keyloggers on the WoW forums constantly. You can usually tell which ones are fake by context (someone from a random realm posting links on your realm forum, etc.) but the hackers are getting a lot better.
Just need to be really careful what you click on.

Self contradiction FTW!I feel like I'm in IR with all the self-indulgent pseudo-intellectuals who seek out every error ever.
Let me correct. If you take the proper actions upon being hacked, Blizzard tends to be able to get you your gear back and fix, fairly reasonably, the damage that has been done.
If, however, you do not respond quickly enough (i.e. gone from computer for a few days after it happens) or do not have the information you'd need to recover account (CD key, namely) there isn't much they can do by that time to restore what has happened.
*sigh*

I got some serious bad luck again....They patch WoW fairly regularly, and 2.2 was a significant content patch. You shouldn't have to download anything else for at least two months (about when 2.3 should be hitting).
