Red is negative reputation.
Grey is diabled reputation
Blue is the positive reputation you collect.
Did I answer your question?

grey means also 0 rep points
Orange is negative reputation.
Everything else spoken in the thread is correct, though. :)

Okay, I have a question to add. How many rep points do you need to get a second, third, etc. ball?

You can always spend your time reading the FAQ to learn a lil' more about it (http://www.warboards.org/faq.php?faq=faq_warboards#faq_faq_reputation). ;p Although I believe it somewhat mentions it at "rep' power" or "rep' levels".
From personal experience though, the 2nd ball comes at 100 points and the 3rd at 200. Anyway, those shifting karma levels are uncertain because the system hasn't got a strict geometric progression rate. *Wink, hint* :)

Red seems cooler than Blue though...

The red one is colored when you disable in the options to show your rep number,so when you go over the ball it will just say your username.
Someone tought me that, but I dont remember who...
EDIT:Yes I first saw it at that guy with the westdd (i thibk)

Thanks, but btw, it doesn't mention anything about rep balls, just rep level [i.e. going from "(name) will be popular soon enough" to "(name) is a jewel in the rough"]. I checked it before I posted (I'm not an idiot, ya' know :P).

*Buzz sound* Wrong, but do you wanna try again for the double points? :P
It's never red. When you disable your reputation it simply looks like the grey sphere we all had when he had no karma points.

And why do you want to know when they change in number? If ya ask me it's kinda pointless because as I've said here earlier the progressive change isn't in a strict geometric rate. All you need to currently know is already there. ;)
Besides, I didn't call you anything. You're simply distorting words into my mouth.

Well, I was just wondering because I asked someone before (heh, curiosity) and they said the first one was at 50 pts. (it was someone who's been here a while). Then, I found out through experience, it isn't. =/

I know, I was just making a statement that I'm smarter than the average forum-goer. :D

Aww, you suck :P

Cuz basan wants it open.
Or
He is looking for a proper picture with a cat to close it :P
Because I was simply trying to see if it could die by itself without any special kind of assistance from yours truly. Guess that I was wrong afterall. :P
