Very random question

Does anyone know which unit *turns* the fastest? e.g., if it's facing left, it will turn right faster than any other unit? Or is it the same?

They all turn instantly, I believe. I don't think so. When you order two units to move somewhere at the same time, the one that doesn't have to turn usually begins moving first. Just now tested with a pair of DTs, attacking a nearby unit to turn one around, then moving them both. Oddly, though, there seems to be a sort of random delay; sometimes (but not often), the one that has to turn will actually begin to move first.

Any info on this behavior would be appreciated.

shows what you newbs know. In flingy.dat all units have a turning radius. I'm pretty sure that bigger = faster. I actually screwed with that once. It makes units look messed up if you make them turn real fast tho.

Actually, most units move the same. Most air units turn slower until they upgrade speed. Anything that upgrades speed just simply cuts out like every other frame, which makes it turn faster because of this. The wraith turns fast no matter what, as do a couple other air units. Mostly it's unit speed. The reaver for instance turns slower than the rest.
