Looking at my 1998th post I think of the year I came to America about Fall of 1998 AD. I still miss the feeling of the cold air of night California and the chill that reaches the hills where we reside in the morning.
In the 90s there are few things I remembered very well:
-Nirvana
-Beastie Boys
-Evangelion
-Mt. Pinatubo Eruption
-Super Mario
So what do you guys miss during the 90s?
masterofhobbiton

Jurassic Park (why is it still more realistic than modern movies?), no bad star wars movies, no homework, no Bush as president...

Hmm, i don't remember much from that time, cept for
-SNOW at winter! Haven't seen decent snowfall in such a long time
-Playing SC for the first time and get that 'omg.. omg..' feeling.
The feeling of innocence I had when I was 8. Nothing but waiting for birthdays and Christmas and Saturday's, building castles and then having a Lego war with friends.
Good Times.
A few other things during the 90's.
Mortal Kombat was one of the top games. (I think)
Home Improvement was a primetime show.
Bob Saget hosted AFV.
Other shows I remember at the time was "Dr. Quinn" ; "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" ; "Full House" ; "Family Matters"
TMNT was a cartoon series on saturday mornings (along with animaniacs, piny and the brain, and the bugs bunny show)
That's about all I can remember right now.

You're in Ireland. We're in the USofA.
Rules are much different.
Even so, why would you get expelled for playing tag? O_o
Because you could potentially be leading up to sexual misconduct in public which is a nono in the USA. (though, for the record, schools don't really give a fuck about what you do when no one's watching.)
No it doesn't make any sense. But then again, the things people in the US do anymore usually don't anyways.

What about old-school freeze tag, where to unfreeze someone you had to crawl between their legs?
Yeah, you can't really do that now.
How old were you when you had to play that way? The freeze tag I remember was just to simply touch them to unfreeze.
Jesus, I remember when they restricted Tag at my elementary school and forced us to play Shadow Tag. We became the bitchiest kids on the playground.
TinyDancer
09-20-2007, 8:33 PM

I never went to school, I just played it with my friends. I've always been really hard to unfreeze though, because I'm so short. :(
