I originally posted this in a place I don't want to name, but why the hell shouldn't I share it? Meat pie, enjoy.

2 unbaked pie shells (flaky is best) thawed
1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
4 oz can of sliced mushrooms, drained
1 small onion, diced
1 large packet of instant brown gravy
4 oz shredded cheddar

Lightly brown beef and drain off the grease. Add onions and sautee with the beef until beef is dark brown. Add Mushrooms and drop heat to low. Add packet of brown gravy mix, and 2 ounces of water. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the texture is uniform and not liquidy. Remove from heat and add the cheddar, mixing thoroughly. Add mixture to the pie shell, sloping it up towards the center so none falls out. Add the second pie shell to the top and score it with a knife, sealing the edges with the other shell by using a fork. Bake the pie at 350F for about 35-45 minutes, or until the crust is dry, brown and flaky. Remove and slice. Eat. Burp. Fart.

You should have added a poll with "i like pie" as an option.

Idiot.

Agreed. It must suck that all your threads are flamed for being pointless, which is definitely not always the case.

If my threads are pointless, all threads are pointless. A forum is about talking to other people, and sometimes conversations don't always have a point. The Members Lounge is for the members to, well, lounge about and talk about whatever hits their mind as long as it's PG-13 (and even then, that rule is almost never enforced unless you post hardcore pornography). The butter golems thing was just creepy, but this thread was me trying to share with the community and here people think this thread is pointless, stupid, or not worth replies?

God damn people. What the fuck is wrong with you.

God damn people. What the fuck is wrong with you. What? You can't tell? But it is obvious. They are all totally and completely jealous of you. You have 10k posts, one of the highest reps, everyone knows you, most of the aforementioned everyone likes you, and on top of all that, you are kongurous. What is there not to be jealous of, eh? :P

BTW, for the record, I neither flame your threads, nor think they are pointless. But I am still jealous of you. :D

I'm just confused now...
This is a natural reaction. Don't worry.

When I went on a trip to the US half the time I spent there was spent craving a meat pie. But no one sold them anywhere. It was Horrible.

You can also add a mash potato Lid to the Pie instead of a pastery one. Tastes Really nice.

Who wants some goddamn carbonara (http://up.kupatrix.com/f/4/cabonara.jpg)?

Boil the pasta, chop into pieces some random salami (or pancetta, your choice) with a strong taste (you could also use white win) and put it with oil in a high frying pan. Add the pasta and a lot of sour cream, spice it (I use pepper, salt and paprika) and in the end add egg yolk (could also add parmesan and butter) and mix till it's nicely creamy.

Enjoy.

I've had that before and it is good. Try throwing in a pinch of basil for a little extra flavor.

Burek doesn't count. At least, not the burek I've had. It was meat, and some cheese, and some vegetable matter with filo dough wrapped around it, and then the dough is curled into a spiral and cooked.

Mmm.

I think it's impressive that TD treated that statment by Proto totally innocently.

Of course, she's obviously worried how hard Proto hit the nail on the head =p

Ok here's the best serbian food,Sarma. It has been made by serbian since 1240 and is still used today.Very tasty.

What you need:
2-3 sauerkrauts (? dont know how to translate to you that, but I think that this is the right word)
For filing;
1/2 cup of oil,4 black onion heads,2 cups of rice,1/2 spoons of brown gravy (if that is that, aleva paprika (?)),1 kg of ground meat,biber,salt,spice,150 g of beacon.
For dabble (?):
1 cup of oil,2 spoons of flour and 1 spoon with brown gravy.

With every layer of sauerkraut remove the hard part.On boiled fat or oil bake small shreded onion, then put the cleaned rice and bake it a little and add brown gravy. Then add the ground meat (best mixed - pig and "junece" (?)),add spice, salt, peper all admix and bake for 3-4 minutes.
Remove everything you baked and into that filing, if you want, put small pieces of beacon .Then contort the sarma. On every layer put a spoon of meat with filing, aflact the layer from both sides and towards the middle wrap them. The bottom of the pot plate the whole layers of sauerkraut and over them you put sarmas. On the top you put several lines of sauerkrat.
IMPORTANT:You must put a plate over the sarmas and push a little so the sarmas wont rise. You add over them some hot water.Temporary shake the pan so the sarmas wont be burned.
You bake it on a small temperature for about 2 to 3 hours. Then you increase the temperature a bit so the the sarmas would be a little in the oil for a little (about 10 minutes).

This is not a single meal,if you make it right invite some friends and enjoy the meal.

This is how it should look like
(if you make it and liked it please give me rep,I spent a lot time translating this)

I dont have the recipy for gibanica right now so I'l send it later with a private message.

My friend from Kosovo makes the burek that I've had.
Is he Serbian or Albanian!
Cuz Albanians in their religion are forbiden to eat some of our food (sarma for excample).

Anyway Nesa liked it :D!
Ask him how he names that burek so he can sell it in the Bakeries.

we should split a meat pie. if we take turns eating incrementally smaller pieces the pie will last forever!
