This will teach you how to turn shared vision off to create fog of war, so you can stack, like in a defence game. You will need a editor better than StarEdit to do this, such as SCXE or SCMdraft2.
Players:
Force 1
Conditions:
Current Player brings (1) (unit) to (location)
Action:
Run ai script (turn shared vision off for player 1)
Run ai script (turn shared vision off for player 2)
Run ai script (turn shared vision off for player 3)
Run ai script (turn shared vision off for player 4)
Run ai script (turn shared vision off for player 5)
Run ai script (turn shared vision off for player 6)
Run ai script (turn shared vision off for player 7)
Run ai script (turn shared vision off for player 8)
Preserve Trigger
You do the same thing to turn the lights back on.
Players:
Force 1
Conditions:
Current player brings (1) (unit) to (location2)
Action:
Run ai script (turn shared vision on for player 1)
Run ai script (turn shared vision on for player 2)
Run ai script (turn shared vision on for player 3)
Run ai script (turn shared vision on for player 4)
Run ai script (turn shared vision on for player 5)
Run ai script (turn shared vision on for player 6)

To make sure that they don't get stuck with lights off, make them shared vision with a comp and then place something near the locations such as a flag. You might need to turn "shared vision" in the forces tab to unchecked so that you can't see the other players units as well.
