Here's a never - ending topic (I guess.) Bill Clinton and his new book. Uh...haven't read it - don't plan to. He's all right. He's one of the big topics on the radio and news lately. Many interviews with interesting "moments." Please discuss what you have heard.

I say he was an OK guy. Sure, he had a problem with women, but hey... Better then Bush, IMHO

I incline to agree, but he didn't manage to stop the 9/11 accident in security matters (He where president before Bush, in other words, the one responsible...but..)...still it might be the people's will...they whouldn't give tax money for it, neither...so anyways...what his affairs was with Monica Lewinsky don't matter much, anyways, wasn't a bad saxophone player either, just don't get him started with Osama bin Laden, though...He's SUCH after him like cat and dog...though I can't blame him...oh no, heavens no....Bill was atleast more peace loving than the Bushes..and he did revert their tax breaks to rich...not the green one, though... ;)

I don't like Clinton because he sold military secrets to the Chinese for campaign money. That's all.

Do you have proof to back up that claim....recruit? If not, then move your anti-Clinton propaganda elsewhere, z'his is a praise-thread for his book, so us spoiled Bill-fans can jump around yahooin' about how good president he was...blah...and good book... catch the irony? Them "military secrets" where probably none other than exchanging numbers of Nukes with China, just to brag about US good margin of - having more nukes than China, and vice versa I also think... :D

And I would disagree with that. Clinton was out of the White House for nearly a year and a half before 9/11 happened, so how could he be responsible?

Anywho, I don't plan on reading his book. I've already tried to read a book by a government official, and it was full of big words and complex sentinces, like he was trying to say "HAH! You all are stupid! That's why I rule over you.". The prick.

Okay, sorry, I didn't knew - I thought he ran all the way up to 9/11, but naw. Who did run for president in the pre-9/11 era? Just tell me, I admit being wrong okay? No need to hold a long grudge for it, ach, goddamnit, I'm exaggarating again....though who knows what Clinton means with all the big words, hm? Perhaps he means something friendly and nice like: "Drink milk, and have chicken stu." - One just don't know. But still, 1 and 1/2 years before the 9/11, Bill could've still had some influence on the matter, considering he where president for 8 whole years, and could've done alot to the security in that time, and it is still BEFORE 9/11.... But who can blame Bush, who just came in the last 1 and a half years before? Hmmm, consider that :)

And I would disagree with that. Clinton was out of the White House for nearly a year and a half before 9/11 happened, so how could he be responsible?

Al-Qaeda attacked the WTC in 1993, just after Clinton had been elected and sworn in to his first term. After the failed attempt to bring down the towers by destroying the base, Osama Bin Laden is recorded to have sworn to bring down the towers. And he did, and quite masterfully (as far as improvisational building destruction goes) at that as well. So, the Clinton administration had eight full years to do something about Al-Qaeda, and did do some damage, however they didn't uncover the plot for 9/11, and that is the one that mattered.

Saying that Clinton has no responsibility for preventing 9/11 is like saying that George HW Bush had no responsibility for preventing the 1993 WTC bombing. Things like those don't spring up over a matter of months. They take years of training and planning.

Anyway, now that my rant is over, I will proceed to the topic at hand.

As a man, I don't like Bill Clinton. As a President, I think he did a good job. There are several things that I think he could have done differently to reach a better result, but overall he was fairly conservative and did the job quite well.

As for his newest book, I haven't read it, and while I don't plan to read it, I might eventually. But I did hear a joke about it.

I just can't remember how it goes...

I was reading a review about the book. They said it sucked. 900 and some odd pages of pure garbage. Ouch. I guess a 900 page about his life would be kind of boring.

He'd rather be more exciting to listen to if he just shut his fucking mouth and played us some goddamn saxophone, like back then in the old days :D
