i got a mod and the file type is 'cwd'. how do i install it?

Cwds are useless and outmoded. Try to go for the new age of modding. You can find some updated tools at SC.org. The link should be here somewhere.... Anyways. You might also want to try like, Shadowflares realm. I dont know the exact link, so look it up. Cwads dont work past a certain version, but i never got them to work for me EVER, anyways. So.......

CWD's are StarDraft files. You'll need StarDraft to run them and either patch 1.07 or 1.09.

well i think he meant that he downloaded a mod that the creator had saved as a .cwd.

Anyway, i think what you have to do is go into stardraft and select "create self executing cwd" i dont know what to do past there as i have never worked with cwads.
