I found this on Ladder (europe) and I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how much it is worth to trade in terms of perfect gems/runes?

Wow, thats a really nice orb.

My guess would be around 2 - 3 High Runes. The active D2 players would probably have a more accurate guess though.

It's not worth that much unless this is on the new ladder, you might get something good for it.

Don't let it go for perfect gems, its worth more then that. Unless you are on non-ladder.

Yeah, Occy is important to Sorceresses. Only trade it for something you really need =p

(Seeing as I have terrible luck finding sweet lewt for my pally :( )

Personally, I'd trade it for no less than 1/4 of your inventory space in perfect gems. That, or around 300,000 gold. I'm not really good at item appraisals (especially since I don't own the expansion), but that's my two cents.

Yeah my suggestion would be to make a sorceress with it (I would to be honest)

Or, possibly, trade it for something your paladin needs. But I've no idea what ladder economys are at...

keep it and make a sorceress though to use it

The Oculus is a great sorceress item. Most sorceresses try to go for Tal Rasha's wrappings these days because there's something Pokemon-ish about collecting the entire set. However, for purposes of Magic Find or Skills Bonuses, Tal Rasha's is infinitely inferior to Occy / Shako / Skullder's with a +skills amulet and some Chance Guards.

Don't let the Oculus go for less than something like Ist, Mal, Ber, Jah, Cham, or Zod x 2. It's not worth three high runes, but if you held out long enough you could probably find someone desperate enough to give you two.

I don't know GA, The only plus to occy/unique setup over Tal's if you miss out on one + skill, or like some extra fcr.

Technically the BEST mf setup would really be Tals Belt/Armor/Ammy with Shako/Occy. Sure Skullder's gives more mf after a certain level -- but you lose out on Resistances.

Occy is worth Ist if you play your cards right. Um if you don't.

Anyway, I'm going for higher MF for cheaper cost. And Skullder's / Shako / Occy / Goldwrap pwns the shit out of Tals and that is that. It doesn't take uber-high resistances to farm the bosses.

Tal armor and ammy are fucking ridiculously overpriced now, anyway. Seriously, I've seen them go for 2 high runes before. It's just stupid. They're not worth it. Anyway,
