Is it possible to see the replays without having to open starcraft and play the replay? It gets annoying how I have to open up SC every time I want to see a Replay.

you can oly watch them outside sc if they are VoD's

Anyways, a VOD (video on demand) is the only way to you'll be able to watch SC replays outside the game itself. And I'm sure it's far greater of a hassle to record your replays and post them on YouTube than it is to open SC. ;)

No, I don't think you can watch an actual StarCraft replay withoust using StarCraft. You can use VoDs, but I hate them because they take up a lot of hard drive space and have sucky graphics. You can look them up on YouTube and other places too, but there's a very limited selection with even worse graphics than downloaded VoDs. Plus, in replays you can see everything, whereas in VoDs you can only see what they want you to see. I recommend downloading batches of VoDs and watching them all before you get new ones, that may help you. If you go on YouTube, I recommend the TvZ games (BiSu vs. Savi0r) with English commentary by NonY and Day(9), even though I play Terran. Also there's a good site for downloading StarCraft VoDs, just look up StarCraft VoDs on Google.
