Yes, the guides been updated to version 2.0. I've added quite a bit of extra data including a few new tips and tricks I've learned. In addition I dive a little bit into how exactly the original starcraft units were rendered so as to give you, the reader, a little more understanding on how to match these units and merge your creations seamlessly into starcraft. The guide's now nearly 30 pages long so be sure you have a can of red bull handy (or whatever your favorite drink is).

Also be sure to check out the Wireframe Creation Guide (http://uploader.polorix.net//files/185/Keep%20Folder/Wireframe%20Creation.zip).

Fixed. Also added in the wireframe creation tutorial since that link is probably dead too. I moved the files around on my host server and the links didn't copy like I thought they would. :/

Now when I try to download it, it gives me a server error at about 10%. :'(

Don't use DownThemALL or any other downloading software.

Well, I thought that might be the problem, so I tried Firefox's regular downloader -- same thing. Hmm... I'll try again with wget, see if that works...

Nope, didn't work. <_<

Can you maybe upload the guide at a different place? Say, Up.Kupatrix (http://up.kupatrix.com)?

hmm, I'm getting a file damaged error now. I'll reup and see if that fixes the problem.

EDIT: ok it SHOULD be fixed. Works flawlessly for me.

I assume you've been using firefox this entire time? Try the default browser of your OS. (usually it's not firefox)

Actually, it is Firefox. Linux FTW. ^_^

However, I just tried Epiphany (web browser) as well as wget (command line downloader) again -- same thing.

Awesome tutorial. I'm on my way to making my second 3d model for starcraft.Yeah.. flying books WITH textures now! :)

woah, I didn't even know this "tutorial quarters" existed.

Thnx for the links UED and the .pdf guide. I have been experimenting a bit w/ blender now and it seems very extensive. Have any sample SC models to view/edit in blender? Looks like there are a lot of sample models out there to fiddle/learn from.

I'm not UED(77). He's over there ---> (http://www.warboards.org/member.php?u=43)

I'll see what I can come up with for example models. I've been a bit busy recently but I'll do what I can.

That is one sexxxxy lawn mower.

haha thanks. That's going into my mod "Days of Insanity" (if I ever finish it :S)
