View Full Version : Weird..
The block, where the start menu, tray and the active programs reside, was accidentally hid by me, and it doesn't want to come out.. weird isn't it?
well, I can do with alt-tab and task manager well enough so that isn't much of a problem..

Do you mean the "active programs screen" that appears when pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete? I once hid the part with the active programs, and could only see the processess that were active. You can bring it back by double-clicking on top of the screen.
I can see it, but can't drag it to be usable...

Oh, do you mean that it is there, but can't activate anything in it? If it's this, then I really wouldn't know how to solve this n*sty little problem.
Yes, it's there, but unusable. Task manager works fine.

You probably reduced its heigh to near zero. If you remember which part of the screen it was on, move your mouse to it in the center and you should get the double arrowhead icon. Click and hold your left mouse and drag up, and it should get it back up.
If you need to find it, hit your windows key or ctrl+esc to bring up the start menu.
It got fixed when I rebooted, thanks anyway.

Hey Exe I didn't know ctrl-esc. I learn a new shortcut everyday. I really hate using the mouse for things that can be done more easily with the keyboard. It never fails to amaze me how much time people spend messing with the mouse. :)
