B.Net Problem?

Alright, I just recently formatted my computer and before this everything worked fine. Now when I open up SC or SC:BW and go to multiplayer it locks up in the lobby, I cant alt-tab out of it or use command prompt, anything. It always seems to lock up at the same time, like I can count to a certain number and it locks up every time. Idk whats up, but I cant play online. :cry::cry: And oh god I hope I dont have to format my computer again, my dad would give me so much crap about it. :confused: I have already re-installed BW and SC around 7 times.

Any help here would be appreciated.

Do you have a firewall going at all? I know this happens when I run Kerio, or in the past ZA, they'd try to pop up, but instead would lockup SC so I couldn't do anything.

Also you might try manually downloading the patch from blizzard to update Starcraft/BW first, then goto connect.

I doubt the patch dl-ing thing but ZoneAlarm definitely locks up everything instead of giving a popup.

Any similar software you had before and after format?

Wierd. Everything is the same as i formated, i dont have any firewalls that arent configured with it. But, if i can join fast enough i can play the game all the way through. If i dont get out of the lobby though it locks up. Wierd right? :confused: Anyways thanks for the suggesions Neo.:D

At first my dad said it was a message from god to stop being a computer nerd. lol :D:D:D. Then he said it is probably because of my 4 year old ram, he says its dieing quickally. So im getting a new computer:P!!! But the wierd thing is, none of my games work but counter strike source, ide say that requires more ram than anything i have on here, but thx guys. :smirk:
