Its release dat has been pushed back multiple times. In every video they release the game looks finished, but its being postponed for some reason.

Ever heard of STALKER? Took them lots of time but eventually they finished it.

I think they'll release the gamer sooner or later anyway, otherwise the company will just lose to much.

Duke Nukem Forever is never coming out.
As big a fan of DN I am, I have heard the DNF is coming out, but it's all shady info. That's all I'm asking for, a kick ass fps that can really sweep everything except Half-Life and Halo series.

Also, what the hell is that Spore game all about? Looked kinda weird. I'd much rather have DNF come out then ever hear about Spore again, even if it turns out to be one of the top 100 video games ever (pretty doubtful though :/).

Too bad I'm at work here, and had to see that without sound. Will it be a multiplayer game? Could you be in the middle of developing some sea species, and some jackass with a giant space ship decides to come and wreck everything? Also, could you have wars with other people?

That game looks cool, but vastly unrealistic. No species will ever be so technologically advanced as to actually be able to find another sentient species. I say humans might land on Mars, if we're lucky, and then that's about it before we get wiped out or thrown back to a stone age.

Also I wonder if it will be possible to create something like zerg - with no technology, but is so biologically advanced that we could contest sci-fi machinery in war.

Since I had no sound I must ask: is it one home planet for every one player?

No, single player, with a download able network. You want to see another player? It downloads their stuff and then "Hypothesis's" what they would do if you met them, based on all activity up until the download.

first: no, some jackass with giant whales that fly UFO's(my dream) cant come in and suddenly kill your species, it's not a multiplayer game, but when you load the game it takes all the info other players made(ex. the species buildings planets all that stuff) so that when you can actually fly
you can meet their species, talk, wage war, abduct some of them for experiments, but they aren't controlled by another player, the AI controlls them when you log onto the game.

and yes, it seems highly possible to create a zerg species(zergling) though it might be hard... but you cant make it so that they suddenly make hatcheries that produce different kinds of zerg(though you could maybe recreate the zerg buildings)
and also, the fps games like fear and DNF dont require much thinking at all,
just fast reflexes(pressing the shooting button when a monster comes outta no where), quick wits(ambushed by some monsters and ability to suddenly dodge attacks), and the guts to move on(i mastered that after playing painkiller 24 hours at my friends house):D:D
really if you like to play god(which alot of ppl do)and control someones fate/destiny(which quite some ppl do) and create some fucked up monster and make it take over an galaxy(which i bet alot of ppl do) then spore
is great.

Once you evovle past micros, you cant go back realy. And you cant create multiple ones.
