I have decided to start a new clan...it has been a while since I started my last one (Clan Aftershock, back in 2002). I will be recruiting people (without tryouts to start), our website is located HERE (http://www.blackabyss.uni.cc). We play every Blizzard game, Guild Wars, CS 1.6, CS: S, and Xbox Live....I am in need of people who can lead, and who are willing to recruit, those members will recieve a high starting rank within the clan. Once we get going, I will be buying a Vent server, and a CS 1.6 server for clan use, as far as a channel goes, I don't have one since I don't really want to host 24/7 (if someone wants to, you will start out higher off). If you would like to join, either PM me on here, or register in our forums and post in the New Members section :D

i recomend you just stick with one game. managing a sucessful team for one game is already tough enough, and trying to manage a bunch of people for a bunch of games is just crazy. sure, people have done it, but i've seen how fast the clan can fall apart, and how you'll have to immediatly run back to recruiting people without tryouts.
my advice is play games, and whenever you spot a good player who isnt in a clan, you can add 'em to your friends or somethin, and ask em if they wanna join your clan.

I created clan aftershock with three other people...back in 2002, I was in the original Clan Darkstar back in 2001. I have lead a lot of clans, even if just for a few days, and know how to lead more than one game. I have people that I trust lead the other games.
BTW, Clan Aftershock is still alive, and kicking.... [www.clanas.org], they have since changed their ways (none of the original founders are in the clan anymore) and may be slowly dying.
I know how to lead a clan, and how to recruit, I have been playing SC for a long time.

We have rules against advertising here...unless sc.org staff can break rules.

Advertising for clans (unless I am mistaken) is technically acceptable, although generally frowned upon. It's advertising other sites/forums that is usually deleted.
And no, staff are given no special priveledges as far as behavior is concerned.

AfterShock sounds cool, can I join ur clan? I got all Blizz's games for Comp, I don't have Xbox, or Guild Wars (im thinking of getting it though).

well, if i had to, i think the CS 1.6 thing is cool. I'd join for that (i've been playin that game ever since third grade, 1.2 i think. now im in 9th grade)
oh god. de_aztec was horrible back then.
If it was StarCraft exclusive clan, then the lines are a tad blurred, but otherwise this is just another advert, sorry.
