Not on this computer specifically, my other one. I can't play SC on this comp because the DVD drive is busted. Anyways.

One night I was playing on bnet fine, and then when I get back from school the internet for that computer doesnt work at all. Then i tried the internet on this computer, and it works fine. Nothing happened to the computer at all, and the internet isnt working. Sure, i've gone to the 192.0.0.1 ip or w/e the local ip is to check my speed. It says its fine, but when I try to go to a site (etc google.com) it wont budge. Neither will it on Bnet.

help?

If you have a router, check that it's properly configured. Also check your DNS. Without more info I think it's impossible to diagnose a problem... gl tho

no idea what either are.
However, I do know that the problem is with the computer, not the DSL or w/e.

Maybe its a port?

Have you tried restarting the computer?

You might also attempt to "Repair" it by right-clicking on the LAN Connection Icon in the taskbar (near the clock) and choosing the "repair this connection" option.

A router is like a cable modem that allows you to connect more computers to the internet. A lot of new comps have wireless... is it a wireless network?

DNS is like an online list your computer looks for when going through internet pages, I think. It's like when you type in google.com, it tells you to go to that specific computer on the internet. If it's down, it wont work...

If you have cable, you can probably call the guys up and ask for help. It takes FOREVER but it'll probably get your problem done.

right. well, like i said.. The problem is with the computer, not the internet or w/e. I'm using the same internet and modem and everything on this computer, but it just wont work on the other (i have two computers)
