The idea for this thread is to post some of your trades and get member feedback regarding the relative worth of the trade. I decided to make something like this because a lot of times people throw up stuff for trade and it gets really difficult to determine what exactly would be a worthy trade. No-one likes getting ripped off, and hopefully this can give the WB memberbase an idea of the state of the market.
Today I traded a belt from Orphan's Call + Lo for Tal Rasha's helm.
Seems like a generally equivalent trade. Thoughts?

What would be good trades for a Shako?

I have three Sigon's Guards and a Milebreglia's Orb. What should I ask in return?

Please stop that horrible green color D:
About what you should ask -- ask what you need.. seriously, i wouldnt want to trade ubergood stuff for even better stuff i can't use it.
I try not to trade that much on Bnet though, and unfortunatly im not online that often :(

Update -
Traded Sigon's Guards for misc. crap. Rings, Bitterguard (333 def unique), and some runes. I got the feeling that Sigon's Guards weren't worth too terribly much, and I have another one left, anyway.
Traded some runes for a Tal's Belt. 3 x Thul + 1 Amn.
Not bad-ish? I can't figure out relative worth of runes just yet. But I am pretty happy that in 40 min I got two pieces of Tal's gear. ^^ One guy had a Lidless Eye but he wanted something specific in return and I had no idea what it was. It took me quite a while to figure out b.net lingo for trades and crap, on top of that.
Hell is proving to be quite difficult solo sorc, I'm hoping that eventually I can parle some kind of knowledge into removing monster immunity. I recall hearing Neo remark about Conviction, but I have no idea what it is or how to get it cast on enemies.
I did, however, kill a linkdead pally. It was quite fun. GG PWNED.

Back when I still played very often, I traded grand charms with certain + skill bonuses (usually those that will give bonuses to damage-dealing skill branches) and no other mods can be traded for one to two high level runes.
Conviction is a paladin aura that removes resists. If you remove enough resists, even monsters that are immune to an element will become vulnerable. Conviction can be acquired by either playing a paladin, teaming up with a paladin, or making the runeword Infinity (Ber, Mal, Ber, Ist). Infinity can either be given to an act 2 mercenary or you can equip it yourself. If you are a lightning sorc, infinity also has an additional reduction to enemy lightning resists, so it might be better to equip yourself with it.
Err. Lo rune is considered a high rune, you got ripped off there. Seriously, I've got like 5 or 6 tal helms floating around on various mules, mercenaries and such. I usually just give them away.
ie: http://wiki.d2players.org/Runes#Very_Rare_or_High_Runes
If you are on USEast (ladder) I could probably hook you up with some more tals. Though its the armor and possibly the amulet that is the most expensive and hardest to acquire.
The weapon for tals is probably around the ko level or so... The amulet and Armor depends on how much the market has fluctuated, and depending how many high runes have been duped since then.

Yeah, runes are great currency items on B.Net. Unfortunately, you cant magic find for them.
Keep an eye out for socketed items. 4 Socket flails are a great trade item (Hammerdins need them for heart of oak) or 6 socket light sabers. The 6 sockets light sabers are great because if you are building an melee enchantress, you could make the Phase blade and get Zeal for your chanter. Basically, any item that has four or more sockets is a keeper. An exception would be a three socket dusk shroud.
Charms are good stuff too. Skill/Str/Life + charms are useful. Don't forget about the high level Gheed/Anni/Torches.
Amulets and rings are really good trade items too. Angelic ammy's are good for the life bonus it provides, Nagel ring's and 40+ MF% ammy's are really important for us magic finders. But perhaps the best amulets of them are +3 Skill/+100 life amulets. Those are really rare, so you might find a lot of +3 skill/random bonuses amulets instead.
Perfect Gems are like dollars on B.Net, I'm not too sure how P-gems work exactly but they are worth keeping around.
And speaking of Mules, I'm pretty sure mine expired. I haven't played in a while, so both my mules are long gone.

It wasn't Lo that I traded, it was Io. The I/l thing was confusing me.
So anyway, now I have his eye. I traded a bunch of pgems that I've been hoarding for eons. I had a go at his amulet, but got shot down pretty quick by the guy that was going to trade. I didn't really put up too much, I prefer to come in slow so I don't get ripped off. In this case, however, it scared him off.
Since, however, I have found my way into an Insight runeword. Additionally, I scored a Spirit Forge socketed with two ptopazes. I'm not sure how I'm going to parle that into armor/amulet, but I'm working on it.
Ahh, well you did ok then :p
Lo, I was like, wtf dude :P
Insight is an awesome mercenary weapon for any spellcaster, the meditation is just awesome.
But yeah, if you collect pgems, it will be easy to trade for higher end stuff. SInce many runes are duped, people might be more willing to trade like 30 pgems for the armor or something to that effect.
I wonder if an organ set is still worth enough to cover armor/ammy. I'd just give you one or two since I'm not using them for anything.

Sweet. Well, let me know when you're on or we can set up a time.
Otherwise, I want to look for some good uniques for Fire Druids.

I just trade the stuff i can't use to Andvari, and he does the same for me.
It works, so i don't complain.
