Halo 3 ARG (Similar to Ilovebees)

Really weird stuff going on at Bungie.com. I'm pretty confused myself but maybe you guys can understand it better than me. I think this is like the I Love Bees thing for Halo 2, except this one is obviously for Halo 3.

Basically, it all started when this "person" named AdjutantReflex "hacked" into the bungie servers and posted a cryptic message (http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=11263399) of "This will be a good place to begin." right after the beta ended, and in gold text which is reserved for admins only. After that, it became really complicated. I can't really explain it well because I'm pretty confused myself so I'll just link you guys to other articles.

Bungie is totally behind this AdjutantReflux guy. If they were hacked by this guy, they would take legal action, rather than have him stick around and play along with him in the forums. Total hoax. We'll see what comes on June 21. That's next Thursday I believe. We shall see. Also, SOTA is on crack. They've been brainwashed by Halo so much that they believe that the forerunners are real. Bring the the SOTA to me and let them prove to me how the forerunners exist. I'll tell them that God is real, actually prove it, and tell them to get a life and read the Bible to get them out of their stupid mental states. Really, SOTA is really, really stupid, and their comic (it was theirs wasnt it?) was gay. This AR is just a thing set up by Bungie to get people interested.

Obviously, I don't think anyone believes that this is real, and if you do, you need to go to the nearest hospital immediately. It's just a game, and AdjutantReflex is probably just a Bungie employee acting in character. The SOTA people are all part of the act. But I think you'd be hard pressed to prove that God is real considering that SOTA has about the same amount of proof that the forerunners exist as you do that God exists (But I guess that isn't a topic for this thread though).

Remember.... one Halo was blown up by the chief, so there's six. Also, what's really killing me is all the people in the Halo forums think the AdjutantReflux is real, like as in a forerunner or something. They're stupid not to use common sense and see that Bungie is completely behind it. I've ready every thread that the AR has posted in, and all the people really think he is some alien or forerunner. Really, I don't think they're fooling around, just look how they are posting. If I was bungie, I would have done that as well just to see how many stupid people there are that are gonna play halo 3. From what I hear, the rocket launcher is still the most powerful gun, although the spartan laser is up there. Don't forget wraith/tank primary fire is VERY POWERFUL!!! A new weapon would be nice though, although I'm happy enough that the H1 assault rifle is back :D. It's very obvious that this AdjutantReflux is something from Bungie, so it would have to be some new release of game info.

Anyways, it's a rigged thing just the fact that it is an "ARG." That stand for Alternative Reality Game, and hopefully all people, not just us, but all halo fans, know that by now.

Get your facts straight.

Spartan Laser IS the most powerful. Takes out large vehicles in one shot, has penetration on infantry/smaller vehicles, and is an instant kill unless you're overshielded.

Also, it's not the Halo 1 AR. It's the MA5C, not the MA5B. Smaller clip size, it's more accurate, more powerful, and has a slightly slower rate of fire.

Also - ARG could stand for anything. Stop being so presumptuous.

The whole point of ARGs is that your supposed to get in character. If you just take the attitude of "Oh, look, Bungie can post wierd things on thier forums. Woo.", theres no fun to it. Its more fun to imagine that its real yet know that it isnt. I enjoy these thing quite a bit, mainly by following along. It makes life a little more interesting.

Its like just about any Roleplaying game, except that the clues to continue are spread out in the real world rather than in a book or magasine.

Remeber in halo 2 when cortana is trying to halt the launch of the forerunner ship and she say that there is something inside the ship resisting her?

When the ship was near earth maybe the "presence" that resisted cortana, was the thing that killed AR. It was a forerunner ship. The entire covantent ity was forerune, just with lots of upgrade from the covanent.

Wow you must be on crack. I don't like Halo..... DAM I LOVE IT TOO MUCH!!! 2nd favorite game (after cs:s), 1st favorite single player (well, tied with Half-Life series maybe). Wow I remember getting the xbox just to play Halo 1. I was going to get ps2, but I played Halo and said man i gotta get this, so i got xbox. That was like in 2002 i think. I preorder Halo 2 at the first chance to pre-order it, and i got the limited edition. Then I got xbox 360 for Christmas. Then, pre-ordered Halo 3, but didn't have money for the super expensive Legendary edition :/. So hehe.... man you don't know what you're talking about saying I don't like Halo. If I had any extra money, I would have gotten XBL a long time ago. Getting a job soon so that will help xD. Man oh man... I can't believe how soon Halo 3 is coming. Hopefully it's not the last in the Halo series like I hear it will be... or that would suck. Anyways, I'm a good Halo fan, just not a fan of the AdjutantReflux...

bolts - Don't get cocky. Elite command has respect for the Arbiter because of what he represented and still represents to them. He was also a Zealot before becoming the Arbiter, so he knows how to lead. However, problems may arise from the fact that he has been branded a heretic. Some members of the Covenant may still see that and refuse to follow him. because of being so indoctrinated with the Covenant belief systems.

I can't link you specifically to that area of the site because it's all under the same link. But I told you, and I'll tell you again specifically how to get there. Enter your birthdate, it will lead you to the main site with the five servers. Upper left hand corner go to "About Halo". Under "About Halo" are four options "Characters", "Weapons & Vehicles", "Story", and "Games". Your gonna wanna click on "Story". Doing so will lead you to a page that says "[The Story So Far...]" (Brackets and all). You can choose to read all of it (which I would recommend to Bolts) or you can just scroll down to the third paragraph (counting the "Finish the Fight!" as a paragraph) from the bottom.

Sorry I can't make it easier but that's the best I can do other than providing a quote. And btw Spartan, I thought that the Arbiter was a former Supreme Commander, considering how he talks about "his fleet". I could be wrong however Supreme Commander (http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Supreme_Commander) link. I suppose there's speculation that Supreme Commander is one of several Zealot ranks. I would imagine that he was above a zealot considering that Zealot/Field Master/Ship Master/Fleet Master (http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Sangheili#Covenant_Elite_Ranks) all wear golden armor. Too many types of elites in Halo 2 and too confusing to discriminate their ranks without some significant aid. In Halo 1 it was more basic: blues, reds, invisible light blues, golds, and blacks. They should have some kind of insignia like real life military personnel do or something like that. Also, seige... i know what the white elites are...

BTW, I somehow met a Flood Juggernaut. Dam those things are scary... I thought the regular flood were bad enough :/...

The only way to face a Flood Juggernaut is to mod. So if you're telling the truth, you or someone you know has a modded box.

Was playing at friend's house. Guess he modded or something. Looked kinda suspicious when he was telling me to play halo :/. Then i see this huge ass flood with super long arms and are like 20 ft. tall and im all SHIT!!! Im all: i can take a whack or two.... one whack and GG!!! Then he told me it was flood juggernaut after i killed one (just freezes there when it dies :/), and I asked where it came from and he wouldn't tell :/. So i guess it was mod.
