Battle.net Issue, please help!

I've had SC Broodwar for awhile, but had lost my SC original. So i purchased a *NEW* copy of SC and installed it and the BroodWar it came with and when I tried getting on it says "User not authenticated" in popup. I kept uninstalling and retrying. Nothing worked.

Can someone please help, I only bought it to play online again. Sigh.

I would hazard a guess and say that someone else pirated a copy of SC and randomly typed in installation codes until they got one that worked (and it just so happened to be yours)

Nope, the problem you have is that you don't have administrator privileges on the PC you're trying to install the game. From there, I assume that it's a Windows XP or 2000. To install the game you must have administrator privileges or ask the PC's admin' account fellow to install the game in it for ya.
