For some reason I can not get Arsenal III to open.
I am running Windows XP MCE, SP2
2Gb DDR2 533
Pentium M 1.86Ghz
I go to Start | Programs | Camelot Systems| ASIII | ASIII.exe
I get the hour glass for a second, then everything just stops.
Any ideas on what the problem might be?

Arsenal III is outdated by almost a year already.
Use DatEdit.

I've been using datedit also, but I am not sure how to get it to make the mod.
Steps I took.
Edited the units/building to my desire.
Exported it to a MPG file.
Used mpgdraft to make it into an .exe
Everything seems to work, but when I start playing a game nothing has changed.

I think we mean .MPQ file.
Are you sure that you have the files in the right folder?

Oh snap, I do mean .MPQ
I am pretty sure.
This is my exact steps.
I edit my units in the Datedit Editor, then I save the units.dat file. I then save the .MPQ file. Once I am done, I go over to the MPQCompactor directory, create a directory in there and place the .MPQ file in it, then I take the default directory from the DatEdit directory and copy it over to the directory inside the MPQCompactor directory, I then drag and drop that directory on top of the java script and it gives me a new MPQ file, I then open that file with the MPQDraft editor to create the .exe, double click it and SC opens but none of the units are changed.

I did not understand a thing you said.
There is a tutorial on SC.org if you need it.
Are you using WINMPQ?

Nevermind, I think I got it working correctly. I needed to name that directory arr for it to work properly.
