Mineral feild, there are three types. "Cash" has laid claim to it, but has not specified which feild patter, since there are 3 types.


So, get your name and a good reason why you should be that unit, and you'll be in the new custom as that unit. For Terrans, you can pick a custom title as well. Instead of saying 'Private' it might say 'Rejected Harshly'

You can try for more than one unit. You'll get your best one. You can also try to challenge the units that have already been taken. You'll get it if you have a funnier or more appropriate reason.

There are two wraiths, buddy! One hero, one not! If you are doing Kerrigans and such, why not wraiths? We can write up our own campaign for this mod and such, so they all get used. He can be the Hero wraith, and I can be the normal, since Dunchy's coolness far overpowers that of my uncoolness.

LoL, I'd either want to be a carrier, a scout, or the unused Aldaris unit. I'd probably prefer the scout, due to its maneuverability and speed, as well as the fact that its main mission profile is to provide cover fire for ground forces. I prefer to help others along, rather than take the brunt of things.
Why Aldaris? Well, because most of the time, I just sit around and watch other people do stuff. But scout sounds good, if it is possible =P

Oh, and if you are going to mod the units too with new spells, can you add to my wraith a central EMP blast? I mean, non targetable, but make it center on my wraith, and have it use like 100 energy. It should take away all shields and special energy like the regular EMP too, but let it do like splash damage too. That would be something to work on and make really cool ^.^

If you could i would like to be a goiath, probely already taken but if you icoudl id love to be one. Id be happy if I was any unit just somthing you see at least once a game like a sunken colony, actualy id love to be a suken colony. If neither of those are possible i wouldnt mind being a high templar, that could freeze units. Hope I'm not to late.

If you could I would have flame throwers attached to my Golaith. After the second one is made i'd have to clone myself a couple times to fill the positions. So you could call the hero Goliath "Original Killphill". That would be pretty sweet if you ask me. So i would like it if you read this and took it into accout.

That's a good idea actually, making everyone look like their avy. Although it kinda goes against all the iscript programming, because you won't be able to see the SCV spin around when it blows up.

About the standing still thing: All units stop and stand to fire. I don't move a whole lot while firing in fpses either, so you're not alone there too. Of course, most fpses I play have realistic accuracy ratings.

So, get your name and a good reason why you should be that unit by Friday, and you'll be in the new custom as that unit. For Terrans, you can pick a custom title as well. Instead of saying 'Private' it might say 'Rejected Harshly'

You can try for more than one unit. You'll get your best one. You can also try to challenge the units that have already been taken. You'll get it if you have a funnier or more appropriate reason.

I've updated the list with all your requests now. Unfortunately you all seemed to pick what everyone else picked, so not that many of you made it through.

I've also sorted the entire list by unit name, so you should be able to check whether the unit you want is taken before you ask for it. If the person who currently holds the unit isn't an active poster, then you can challenge the person's unit.

So basically you can take a unit if I feel like giving it to you hehe... so convince me with good reasons.

I'm still thinking about whether to give you the carrier Jimbob, since Ogrimmdoomhammer has it right now, although I haven't seen him around too much so I might give it to you anyway. I'll think about it.

I'm also working on a list of unnamed units. Thank god I'm a programmer, sorting and searching that list would've taken ages otherwise hehe. I love regular expressions.

Ok apparently it is not finished (with names) so if no one has taken the corsair yet, i would like to be the corsair, because I am fast and good at disabling things (disruption web) but i am pretty weak. The only real reason i think you are a newb, and the fact that you are just saying stuff to impress people, would not have come to light if not for the fact that if you had indeed ever tired this, you would notice that spider mines dont affect hovering units, of which, the vulture, both archon types, and all 3 workers are. So in thus, makes this tactic completely useless unless your opponent like t osay, mix medics in with his/her scvs or such.

Nice thought anyways, I remember trying that myself in archon tag, then trying for 2 years to figure it out, just to find it written in the manual 2 days later.

by the way people, I took the time to type out ALL the free units that have not been put into use a few posts ago. Check back and look there before trying to take another unit. Supply depo and zergling are already take by the way.

Sorry for not being able to keep up with this thread during my absence, however I guess I can clear one issue with the SC characters for BSTRhino's creation. The Queen (regular zerg unit) should still be up for grabs whereas I was able to win the role as the Queen of Blades (Infested Kerrigan) by convincing BST for that role. ;)

Marine attacks vulture. Mines swarm to marine and detonate. Workers, if they know what's good for them, will be far away from now dead marine and scrapmetal from wasted mines.

Perhaps, but that takes alot more work than you think it would. just using the vulture's main weapon would kill the rhine or ling in two hits anyways, before it got the chance to trigger the mine. Besides, just sending in 2-3 vultrues to rush past their bunkers and go striaght for the workers is almost as effective anyways, and draws alot of their attention away from the front gate if you get my drift.
