So, here's the basics:

I'm going to post up a math or logic puzzle to start us off (word puzzles relying on deduction count too!).

If/when you think you have an answer, post the answer, then give us your own puzzle.

Normal forum rules apply, of course.

To start with:

The statement "5+5+5=550" is false. By adding one line, not through the equals sign, you can make it true. What is the resulting correct mathematical statement?

Question: does the line have to be straight?

54(+ with a little line)5 + 5 = 550

Ummm...
Statment: 1234567890 + 0987654321 =2222232211
Make this true by adding a single line.

I'm not sure how you qualify a "line" but the statement becomes true if you alter 550 to (550/2)^0.5

*shrug*

No, my way works perfectly. If you add that little line that turns the plus sign into a four, and that is a line, it works perfectly.
Now awnser mine.

Oooooh, I misread it before. Silly me.

To answer yours, DarkMirror: Change the 5 in the second number to a 6.
