Help With SCMDraft

the editor freakin crashes evrytime i place sprites!!! help!!

Dont place sprites,make sure u got the right version .. thats all i can really help you with since i just use it for terrain.

yeah, when you try to place BW units or sprites it crashes if you don't have BW installed.

no.. i mean that i placed sprites throught the map... like an effect or sumthing... i have no problem with the units... the sprites are the problem... cuz i just recently downloaded SCMDraft... i placed it in my starcraft folder then run it... then after i made the map, i placed some units then sprites... after a few minutes it says... "fatal error bla bla bla"

Ok, well it crashes when you place it on the editor?
Because i placed every single sprite on the editor and it didn't crash.
If it crashes when you play it, that is supposed to happen, most sprites make SC crash.

Almost all sprites make the game crash. Exceptions are disruption web, darkswarm and maybe a few others, but that's it.

Well, hmm. Thats a bit of an issue. Check to see if you have the BrooDat.mpq file being used.

That shouldn't effect it. I've tried running SCMDraft with StarCraft running and it work fine.

First, I'd check that you have the most recent version. The current one is "0.8.0".

If you have that version, and you still get crashes, I'd report it to SI. I can't seem to find his account on this site, mainly because search forces me to use 3 or more characters. I'd e-mail it to him at: Suicidal_Insanity@stormcoast-fortress.net

hey i got a prob with scmdraft 2. when im editing i change the marines weapon
stats to a number besides 6, and when i click on a diff unit to edit then click back to marines the number of attack damage says 6 unstead of the number i put. is it a bug or are they trying to fix it or what?

WestDC, try clicking in some place else (as in, other option) on that window after editing the unit's stats'. Only afterwards you should change to other places. That way, it should keep the changes you've made.
