Prom night

Yesterday on 29 may was my prom night.I'm finishing the 8th grade (finaly).

I'm waiting for the pics to post them here.

So I was wondering...if you could answer these questions about your prom.

1.When was your prom?
2.Where was it held?
3.Who was your partner?
4.Any special moments?

My prom was in 2005 i forget what day but it was in june, it was quite nice and emotional especially when we threw the hats all 300 students and the hats coming back down and poking some eyes out :P, we went to a restaurant called "shamm el Nasim" smell the wind in English, i actually went alone but sat on a table with 5 of the girls i knew, bIG mistake as they all wanted to dance and i hates dancing :s

Oh forgot to mention:We were in the restaurant Perper in the Pionir hall.My partner was Jelisaveta.And,with me they all wanted to dance.

Prom week in Bulgaria too.

Few friends of mine graduated, Im next year, believe me I have all the patience in the world.

It was very nice. I was at a few going-away parties.

Hey, warinserbia, whats the tendency in Serbia this year? Get drunk as hell with a bunch of gipsy's playing ""folk"" music? Ppl say that the last few years proms went from graduation to a big drinking contest...


Edit: Wait a sec.. 8th grade wtf? Shouldn't you be graduating in 12th or something?

Not that I know.But there were a few gipsy's,but not playing "domacu muziku"(folk).

So hey, I just graduated High School, and have went to 2 of my proms.

Number 1
1.When was your prom? Late April
2.Where was it held? School... After prom at the Y
3.Who was your partner? My girlfriend
4.Any special moments? One fun part where I picked her up and started dancing with her in my arms

3.Who was your partner? Went alone, but I did find someone to dance with about half way through
4.Any special moments? I dislocated my knee dancing.

Anyway, my "prom" was this Monday night, although it was prom by conventional-american-cinematic-terms considering no one went with dates. We were at the Tour Montparnasse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montparnasse), on the top floor, we had a dj and an open bar and we just danced until it ended at about 430am. It was pretty fun, and I got a chance to talk to a lot of the people I never really had the time to in an out-of-school environment. Generally I had a good time, it was a lot more low-key than most American high school proms.

I don't have prom because I'm homeschooled, but I went to a few stužková parties this year, which are kind of like Slovak graduation parties.

Why?Its not stupid.Sometimes you see some realy interesting stuff.You know what I mean!
Boring yes but when you hang out with you'r friends...than you will find a way for fun.
