Yahoo just upgraded theri facilities....their free users now get 100MB of an inbox (!!) and their paid customers get like limitless....This is seen as in part to compete with the upcoming GMail....but i think 100MB is really cool ;).

I don't think Google will ever have to worry about running out of space. They have a cluster of 50,000 - 100,000 computers with each computer rumored to have two 80GB drives. Do that math and that's a range of about 8 petabyes (8 million gigabytes) on the low end to 16 petabytes on the high end.

I've abandoned by Yahoo! Mail account that I registered about four years ago due to spam. A quick check shows that I have 2,993 unread messages.

Heh, I'm switching over to yahoo unless hotmail comes up with something better, pending acquiring a gmail account.

I already have a yahoo account, but it was riddled with porn and spam. But I have gotten rid of most of it. Also, the premium yahoo account ($20 a year) has 2 GB of storage, over 2x that of gmail. But it costs money. :(
