When I try to start up world of warcraft it brings up an error saying that there was not enough memory, but last time this happened all I had to do was restart the computer. That didn't work.

How much memory do you have in your computer, and what other programs do you have running on your computer? These errors, when they are acting properly, usually come up when you have too many programs running at once.

For reference, if you have less than 1 GB of RAM, you might see benefits from closing applications like web browsers, email, music/video players, and image/video editing applications. Things in those categories tend to use a decent amount of RAM, especially if you have them all running at the same time.
