41...that was surprisingly low. I don't think I was being too honest with myself here. Oh noes!

30...You are an average on-line user. You may surf the Web a bit too long at times, but you have control over your usage.

Imma gonna sleep now

except most of those questions were stupid. I don't hide the amount of time I'm online... I do work online, I'm a geek, I read stuff online, Hell, I watch TV online.

I don't cut down on my time online and then fail, or stay online longer then I plan becuase... I plan to be online often.

How wierd. As if we should feel guilty for being online.

Geek Powah.

Internet Recovery Podcast... I smell irony. No seriously.

I got a 22, but my entire life right now revolves around a computer. I work on one, I repair computers, I buy stuff over them... yeah, the quiz is dumb.

To be fair, this doesn't change the fact that I am probably on my computer longer then most people around here... =p

@pretty much everyone: The test isn't questioning how long you spend on your computer accessing the internet, but whether or not you can exist without the internet, hence the name?

I scored a 39. But I was frustrated by their use of check boxes when the question type was better suited to radio buttons. Checking multiple answers simply gives you the lower score of the two, besides not making much sense.

You are experiencing occasional or frequent problems because of the Internet. You should consider their full impact on your life.

Shit.

Internet usage is different from internet addiction. I use the internet a lot, but I don't consider myself addicted. The same is probably true for most of you who got low scores, but felt their scores should be higher. I mean, at work I'm sitting in front of a computer for six hours, and then I get home and check e-mail and stuff and have my computer on. But it's not affecting my normal activities, I'm usually working on something that's important to me (writing, programming, learning , etc.)

To everyone who thinks their score should be higher. I often find I feel more addicted than I really am. In times when I can't access the internet ... like january this year while waiting for the installer to come around, or during the army time, I found it was much easier than I would've thought. And when you need to make a little effort in coming online, you suddenly find how you don't really need to do those things you sit by hours and do usually. And everyone who knew me back then (before I joined the army) knows few people spent more time posting on BF than I did :P.
