hello and good day to everyone.
i am making external harddrives out of old sega genesis game cases and i was wondaring if anyone would like to buy one. they come with an 80gb harddrive built into them and have an out put of an USB 2.0 plug. they will be personalized with ANY game case of your choosing.

i am so sorry feel free to delete this thread. i must have skipped over that prt of the forum rules. technically i didnt break the rule but i came pretty damn close to it.

The whole idea seems completely impractical. What kind of heat dispersal is going on? I'm inclined to say that the fancy Genesis game case isn't going to last very long under the heat of the hard drive, much less provide adequate support to diminish mechanical vibrations.
And only 80GB... that's really skimpy. You can get a portable hard drive with more than twice that capacity for about the same price, or at least a far far better cost : capacity ratio.
What do I think? Interesting concept, but the execution at first glance leaves a lot to be desired, especially since you don't really go into much detail about the construction.
Plus that whole forum policy jazz, I guess that's important, too. :P
