Alright so, I'll try my hardest to explain this so that everyone can understand and hopefully will be able to help.

I frequently use a program called 'Stealthbot' for Battle.net so I can use it's built in dice rolling system to play D&D with my cousins. Anyways, Ill be including screenshots for your convenience as well as to aid in helping to solve this annoying dilemma.

This first shot is how my desktop looks normally, the important thing is the stealthbot folder. When I try to delete this folder, I get this message:

7392

One may deduce that I am actually using this folder right now and that I am a dingbat. However this application is not only not in use, the contents of this godforsaken folder are nonexistent.

What exactly is happening, if anyone knows, and what can I do about it?

it looks like battle.net has stopped allowing you to use their servers.

Eh...my other stealthbots work, however even when I turn them completely off I am still not allowed to delete the empty folder on my desktop.

This post smells of "fail", whatever that smells like.

I've had this problem before with folders not wanting to delete, even if they are empty, not in use, and simply taking up screen real estate. Probably the simplest way to fix it would be to reboot and then delete it. If you really don't want to do that, you could try to delete it from the command line or download a secure deletion tool that bypasses Windows internal checks to prevent deletion. But I'd just reboot.

Modred I'm so in love with you right now. Of course that worked, so simple and I didn't even try it. Thank you so much, I suppose the local mod can close this now. Thanks again bud +rep ^^

For future reference, I've found this program called "Unlocker" that can unlock "locked" files/folders/etc... when windows is running, and if it can't, can help you setup a "delete during next boot" command, and stuff like that.

It's pretty useful imo.
