Bnet not working properly?

Okay here goes:

I have both the Diablo II and expansion set installed on my computer.
My brother installed Diablo II and he bought his own expansion set.

Now, if he's on Bnet, i can't go, and if i'm on Bnet, he cant go. We both have our own computers btw.
I assume this is because he has used my Diablo II CDKEY, but he doesn't remember anymore >_>'

Can this also be caused by anything else, like being behind a router or something? I just want to make sure that this isn't caused by anything else before i demand he purchases a new Diablo II CDKEY.

First off have yous both been on Bnet at the same time?
If yes what error did u recieve?


My thoughts on it are make sure yous have ur own CDKeys, yous should be able to get online at the same time but D2 has some weird rules on it, to try and stop dupers and such.

i wouldnt really know to be sure but thats my 2cents :P

You have to use 2 completely different sets of cdkeys to be able to play online at the same time.
