Sheet Music

( Edit) Does anyone know of good music I can play for a violin solo in a modern style? Suggestions from popular songs/video games/movies are great. I'm doing an audition for my chamber orchestra at school, and I'm sure I'll get in, so I wanted to do something a little bit different for the solo part (only a fraction of the audition). I know there's sheet music for Halo songs and such, and I was wondering you guys had suggestions for stuff that's similar. I want my solo to be a bit more creative and my style, but I don't know what I want to do. Any help is appreciated- I only have about a week.

Your best bet is to hit up your local music store. Most places have a program that they can download any song for just a couple bucks and print it out for you, that's where I get all of my music.

Buying it is only half- I need to find one I like first. Any suggestions?

what I'd do, is I'd hit wikipedia for contemporary classical music composers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contemporary_classical_music), and try to find one of the contemporary era's that match my playing style, then, use wikipedia on those composers to find if any did any nice violin solos, then aquire the song through means which may-or-may-not-be legal, then either google for sheet music or head to your local music store... Or I would ask a private music teacher... I can ask mine two wednesdays from now if you wanted me to.
