What an instrument to learn... How different is it to play than a guitar?

A ukulele has 4 strings instead of 6, has less frets, and is a smaller instrument. As such, it takes slightly more precision to hit the proper fret, but makes it slightly easier to strum and pick.

Other than that, I don't have alot of knowledge on Ukulele's, so you'd be better of doing independent research.

Pure awesome. I live with a Hawaiian guy who plays ukulele, but he hasn't ever brought one to the house. I'm living with him again next year, so maybe we can get him to bring one.
