Halo 3

My friend already has a beta so I'm super pissed.

Anyway, who's gonna get Halo 3 when it comes out?

So now that that's taken care of, lets talk about Halo 3 and how I want to kick my friends ass cause he has a Beta.

As for Halo 3, I totally want it. I was introduced to Halo at the end of HS and man, it's got to me. Oh, and the graphics for H3 are just awesome... I want it! Unfortunately, I won't be able to get it upon release, cos I don't even have a 360 [nor the resources to get one atm :(]

Same here. I dont have a 360 either. I plan on going over to my friend's house to check out the Beta.

Now for stuff on Halo 3, here's a couple things I know about it
Note: all of these has been provided by my friend Steven Klean:
1. Damnation and Sindwinder from Halo 1 are being reintroduced in 3.
2. The mangun from Halo 1 is being put back in Halo 3. There is also a new pistol as well as the Halo 2 pistol, but no details yet.
3. A new sniper rifle is in Halo 3 as well as a sniper rifle with thermo optics and night vision
4. There is a new rocket launcher that is heat seeking.
5. The Fuel Rod Cannon will be avaiable for mutliplayer use
6. The Hunter's weapons are avaiable for use. Unconfirmed if it will be in SP or MP
7. A new plasma rifle is in Halo 3. This one will do as much damage as the red one, but will also have the capacity and burn out less like the blue one. It will be green
8. There are at least 4 new vechicles.
9. You can duel weild swords
10. Brutes will avaiable characters for use on MP
11. A new needler will be added into Halo 3. This one will kill someone if it hits their head.
12. There will be a covenant shotgun as well as an automatic one
13. The assault rifle will return in Halo 3 as well as a brand new rifle. Also will have a single shot BR like in the special non interactive Halo 2 movie on Halo 1 disks.
14. A new kind of gernade is being put in. Remote mine.
15. Gatling guns and plasma turrets can now be picked up and moved. You can also find compact guns on the floor and then set them up wherever you want.
16. Swords are still in, but there is a new sword being added.
17. Brute's hammers maybe will be a possible new weapon, but it is not confrimed and not likley to happen.
18. The Blue sentinal beam from a Halo 2 campagin mission is being added for MP use. Also will be a purple one like the Plasma Rifle one mentioned eariler.
19. All the maps from Halo 2 will be in along with new ones.
20. Pelicans can be used for Multiplayer, as well as phantoms.
All this is not completey official and could be removed at anytime so keep ur fingers crossed.
