I met some awesome ppl who were also trying out for flight attendant and it turns out one of the girls--Her and I know each other from somewhere! But we couldn't figure out where.

Anywayz, long story short (I gotta go, lolz.)

They want me to come back for the second interview! w00t! So I'll be flying out again on May10th-12th :D Yay!

Congrats, good luck on the second interview. Second interviews are mainly to see your personality and stress test. Expect a lot of personality questions and stress tests to see how you deal with heat. It's not uncommon for VP's to grill you on some things, just to see how you handle the heat.

But it really varies from place to place... on my second interview, me and the VP of engineering got into a long discussion about video codecs. Whopee.

Alrighty--So I have my next interview this Friday at noon :D w00t!

And guess what I found out?

Well, I'm gonna be gone for about seven weeks for training--And I found out that the training they put you through--Is like boot camp. And we're talk'n--Like military boot camp. They make you take classes and then they break you down and build you back up the way that they want you to be. Talk about total AWESOMENESS!!! This may be the only type of military experience I'll ever have and MAN am I look'n forward to it! All the running, the exercise--You know how much weight I'm gonna lose? w00t!

Flight Attendant Bootcamp :

Having to serve a cracker to a customer at the other end of a Boeing 747, while constantly being harassed by annoying people, crying babies, turbulence.
For extra added difficulty, you get to carry 2 bottles of soda. If you shake them to much, you lose.
This all has to be completled ina easily doable 20 seconds.

Here's what happened....I ended up taking the shuttle from my hotel to the United Airlines headquarters on accident.

On my way back, I see this guy talk'n to this black chick and so I asked him towards the end of the bus ride if he was going to the Spherion headquarters downtown. He says, "Oh no I'm going home."

Well we get to talk'n and he was soo cool. He gave me his google map directions and a print out of where to go. He was sooo helpful! If it wasn't for that map he gave me, I would have been lost. I thanked him again and again and he told me what to watch out for. He also told me that I looked the part, so everything was good. Then as I walked away I said, "What's your name?"

"Paul." He says.

"Nice to meet you Paul. I'm Grace. Thank you soo much for everything! You were very helpful!"

"I'm glad that I could be." He says.

"Hopefully we'll be flying together one day!"

We both laugh.

"Yes I hope so. Have a good day and good luck Grace!" Says Paul as he walks to his terminal.

So yeah--He was really cool. I thank God he was there :)

They told me congratulations and welcome to United Airlines! I'm gonna have to relocate for six months and guess where I'll be based at? Washington D.C. BABY!!! w00t!!

It's their number one hub for international flights!!! AND--There is more.....

I get to go to China or Europe for my international training flight!!!! YES!!!!

AND--Okay this is awesome.....I came back to my hotel right? And I was getting a new key cuz mine doesn't work. When the lady asks my name and she looked at me funny. I booked the hotel under my dad's name because he gets a discount.

Well--The lady at the front desk says, "You're with United Airlines right?"

And I say, "Yes, but I am interviewing for a job."

And she says, "That doesn't matter--You are still with United. You shouldn't be paying 89 dollars a night. Since you are with United, you should only be paying 43 dollars. I'll give you a refund for what you paid."

Thank you JESUS! :D

I got the job.

I'm gonna relocate to Washington D.C.

I get to go to China or Europe.

And I got almost HALF my money back.
