Where do you get your inspiration?

I'm just curious as to what you kids resort to when seeking inspiration... or where that genius idea is more likely to hit you, etc.

In my case, it's the shower. I usually take no more than 10 mins for one, but in that short span of time, I come up with most of my ideas (around 85%), which proves particularly useful in photoshop contests and the likes. It's also where I go when I need to come up with something good for an RP and so on... or in the rare case that I write something up.

I guess it's something in the water vapour :)

And yes, one of the options is "Doing weed". Well... some say it works for them >_>

I put "doing weed" even though I've never actually smoked anything in my life -- but I thought it represented my general state of being quite nicely. ^_^

My inspiration comes.... naturally, I suppose you could say. Like my current avatar, for example -- I got that idea when looking at a (what else?) interstate sign. And my signature was actually inspired by the one you're using right now...

Doing random things, sometimes when I'm at work, other times when I'm playing on the computer. Usually nothing important, but not really "Lying around doing nothing" either.

Decided to crawl out of the RP forums for a random post and saw this, gotta say i get inspiration from, random concepts done up in TV shows, movies, or real life events, on little thing like a pack hunting species can inspire a Race in a story or RP i happen to be working on and every little thing in it will be geared towards developing the pack hunter relationship (end ex.) So basically just random shit from anywhere and everywhere.

Btw Zelt, quick question, any major signifigance to you using the Caduceus in your avvy? j/w, its a symbol for my fraternity so it kinda jumped out at me.
