Pokemon or Megaman?

I have come to a great crossroads in my life. You see I have been a hardcore megaman (rockman) player eversince I was like 4. When I got my SNES for my seventh birthday the first game I got for it was Mega Man X (uber awesome). But recently, I have unearthed a treasure found in my dresser. I found the Original Pokemon blue for GameBoy (the one that was grey and took four double 'A' batteries). Eversince I found it (last week) I've been playing it almost addictively. I need help which one?!:cry:

Ummm, why can't you play both?? If you had to pick between the two, definitely Pokemon. Ahhh brings back memories. If you've been playing additively, I guess you're getting tired of Megaman?

Pokemon is probably one of the coolest rpg-type games for the Gameboy out there, I really want the recent remakes they did for Red/Blue.

I love Megaman though... There's always ZSNES :D

There is a simple answer to this. Recent megaman games have taken a turn towards suck. Megaman x 4 is cool, but it doesn't compare to the mind blowing awesome game that was X3! Here is a GREAT idea that me and my friends to anually. Once a year, on september, we do retro gaming for the entire month. Every week has a different video game, we will play something like FFT, super mario bros for the snes, megaman soccer, mega man x3, or my personal favorite is when we spend 1 week leveling pokemon and play each other at the end of the week. We would go over to eachothers houses and stuff, and play it there. It's great fun, and makes the begining of the school year much easier.

Why pick on gunmonk? when you can have your cake and eat it too.

Dude, where did you get X3? that game is fricken sweet!! Sadly I'm lacking in the X3 department. I kindof got into the entire megaman X comand mission thing when it first came out but then I was all like screw that. But after a certain time Pokemon does lose its replay value. So maybe megaman it is. I dunno I shall wait longer to find out

I myself, never played Mega man that much during my childhood. I played Mega Man (1 or 2?) on the SNES and i loved that Mega Man version but i didn't grow up with that game. But i liked the Mega Man Zero series.

Instead i grew up with Pokemon, i have to admit, i miss that game dearly. I watched the cartoons when the first came out (but then they got what i would say "gayer" as the franchise expanded and the characters became more fruiter), i played the card game second, drooling over the thought of getting Charzard or Blastoise. The game came third, and Pokemon was one of the best RPG's ever made in my opinion.

So if i was in your shoes, i would choose D2, simply because D2 > MM&PM

Gun monk, me and my brother literally collected the megaman games when we both still lived with our folks. He would play them, and I would watch in awe. He never beat X1, that was my victory! but dude, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING compares to the first 3. Those were godly...
