Hey everyone,

Just wanted to drop by and introduce myself to you guys (and gals). I've just started as Senior Community Manager over at Flagship Studios, so you should be seeing me around here along with Ivan and Brennan. It's awesome to see so much support building for the game already! :) See y'all around! (Yes, I'm from Texas.)

Uhh Welcome?!

I've not been following Hellgate to much recently (cnc3 fever, I know right?) but I try to keep up on it every now and again. It's (Hellgate) looking really really nice, heh.

Umm... Are you for real? 'Cause you wouldn't believe how many times some idiot has popped up in the SC2 forums claiming to be from Blizzard, so I'm a bit skeptical.

But if you are for real, then it's kinda cool that you're here... It shows that you guys actually care (to some extent, at least :P) about your fans.

But don't expect much activity here in this forum... It's even deader then the D2 section. <_< But hey, if you start posting exclusive gameplay footage and whatnot, you can be sure to revive this place. :P

*King_Critter - I'm definitely for real, and of course we care about our fans!

Yeah, I was wondering where all the people were. At least a couple of you guys found me! :)

Hey... the D2 section isn't that dead! Gotta say something... =D

Yeah. I've been checking out Hellgate off and on for awhile, but I'm just not a fanatic about it (yet?) -- I really love the website though, the integration of Flash is just awesome (yeah, I'm a web designer first).

Jeff Is supposed to be running our Flagship section, but I think real life is overwhelming him at the moment.

I know pixels made a couple of wallpapers for Hellgate floating around somewhere. I used those for awhile, think they might still be in my random wallpaper pool.

EDIT: Personally I figure that anyone from the original Diablo II deserves some credit -- lol, it's stolen enough of my life as it is. Hellgate: London looks really interesting -- not to mention it's got some insanely awesome graphics. Heh.

Wee for addicting Games!

But I have seen the high-res versions of the cinematics... And damn. I watched those about five times in a row. :P

Hey, D2 is more active now due to a special someone (i'm not pointing the finger at me, but instead at our gracious Neo)

Back on topic, i really like the idea of HellGate London and how it will combine elements of a FPS and RPG together. I bet this will be as successful as Deus Ex in the elements of RPG/FPS, but like most MMO's i'm a bit skeptical about it. But thats probbaly just because i've had bad experiences with MMO's.

What intrigues me the most about this game is it's setting and time line. I like the idea of an future apocolyptic London where demons run free from Hell's gates. It also incorporates important figures in history into the game giving what i call a "realistic" feel to it. Sorta like Deus Ex and the WTO, i can see the WTO rising to power and in Deus Ex that incorporate that idea.

Loading previews for this game is hell on my Dial Up service, so i really don't know much about it but from what i already seen, it's something i look for. Even if i don't have the specs or money to play the game.

Heck Its not a mmo! (right?)
There's a multiplayer allowing gamers to complete missions together, which is soo much better. Actually It is a kind of a dream of mine. (Just like BattleField one day I sat (before the game was made and before I had a PC) and thought 'it'd be nice to drive a tank and shoot stuff' and woosh there goes BF)

The engine thingy looks faulty though.. Doesn't look flexible on the videos.

Well, they're (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=24072) calling it an MMO....

It will feature paid MMO, but the game itself is not one.

It also has free multiplayer content, but I think it will be along the lines of Diablo II party questing/leveling.

Hello Kaiser, nice of you to stop by. :)

Unfortunately our Hellgate area hasn't seen much activity lately, but hopefully that will change as the game nears release.

By the way, I posted my contact info over at Flagship Forums.
