For those who post their desktop screen shots in the...desktop thread in creative concepts, I was one of the first people who followed Neo's advice in getting free skins from http://www.neowin.net/. Since I reformatted my computer 2-3 months ago, I wanna redownload the skins/appearances. For some reason, even though I am logged on there, I cannot redownload anything. I tried to contact the admins there, but every time I go to the contact information page, download something, etc, it keeps saying I don't have privileges to do anything. So I'm guessing since that site is old, it's finally starting to go down or having problems. So, I was wondering where else I can redownload the modified uxtheme.dll and other skins? Possibly from other Warboard users.........

NeoWin.net never had caused troubles onto my PC... provided you don't jump into every bandwagon that might appear over there. And to properly run the site you need to enable it's cookies and allow it's Java scripts.

Most the themes I've got came from there and never gave me major hassles dealing with'em. Same can be told for the Windows OS updating service they have around there, which never gave me trouble during the year (plus a few months) I've used it. ;)

Uhm, you actually pay for a program like windowblinds?

Heres a direct link to the UXTheme Patcher: http://www.llbbl.com/data/nw_uxpatcher.zip

If your after the actual themes... I didn't think you needed to be logged into download them.

I use this (theme); though I've been considering trying something new:
