I think there is no way to do that, but in order to get a periodical source of gold you must have only 5 workers in each mine and as many mines as possible.

If you have the Frozen Throne you could probably change the amount, by changing the ability that the Worker uses.
Just open the following.
<Object Editor
<Abilities Editor
Once In the abililty editor, find the ability that you want customize.
And Do It.
Simply as that It Is.
Try It.
(If you are making a custom or single-player map, then you should use this.)
If youīre talking about strategy, then this Is in the wrong forum.

I'm not sure if the amount returned is specified by an ability or not, but there may be another way. Try making a trigger, that upon the return of gold by a worker, will give the worker's owner an extra amount of gold. I think that's what the insane AI uses for it's bonus gold.

Iīm pretty certain that there are abilities for harvest.
Like If you check on a worker In the editor, you will notice thereīs ability In his abilities folder named Harvest or Gather.
Iīm pretty certain that you can change the amount In the abilities editor.
Though I might be wrong.
But anyway thatīs the Frozen Throne.
I donīt know If you can do It in ROC.
Fratt is right. Go to Module -> Object Editor -> Abilities
Then look on the left and go to
Standard Abilities -> Special -> Units -> Harvest (Gold and Lumber)

Thanks alot all youve been great help :) one more thing how do i set the maximum ammount of gold players can have to 1000, not how much gold mines can have i already know that but the max gold players can get to
use a trigger that says, when player get to greater or equal to 1000 gold, set player gold to 1000.
