I see release date for Ghost!?

They display a release date and a picture of the front cover of the game case. I don't think the picture is artificial, the release date possibly, but it gave my hopes up.

I just realized this: "Blizzard to focus on next-gen console design, Starcraft: Ghost delayed "indefinitely"". PS3 just came out a while ago, XBox 360, Wii has all been out. The next gen. are out... The prophecy has been foretold. >.<

It says it would be release from month from now. Can't...fckkn...wait...

Yeah, the article about it being delayed is over a year old. I wouldn't count on the game coming out any time within the next decade, knowing how Blizzard does with releasing things on their original target date. Considering that Blizzard claims no plans to even attempt a release, we can probably expect the game sometime around 2020.

If they do actually release Ghost soon, I'd love that -- as long as they changed the game engine. The current developer (Swing'n Ape) used (at least in all the game play movies that were released) their own Metal Arms engine. The engine was good for that game, but I just don't think it's up to snuff for a stealth/action game like ghost was supposed to be. If they could get their hands on the Splinter Cell engine, though... *Starts drooling*

Only one month? That should have been evidence that it's fake. Blizzard would announce StarCraft: Ghost, if they bring it back, more than a month before it is released.

You never know though....we could just randomly see Ghost or SC2 pop up onto store shelves without any hype or release dates.

That would be nice, if the announcement they said they where going to make was some thing along the lines of "Hey, did you notice we started shipping SC2 yesterday?".

Yes, but it's unlikely, an unhyped game would probably not do very well without some publicity.

This is probaly a fake... I sent a message to Blizzard,
about this date and site, and here is there answer:
"Hello,

Production of StarCraft: Ghost has been indefinitely postponed while we evaluate opportunities for utilizing the additional power of the new and upcoming console systems. Any future news on this title will be posted at http://www.blizzard.com (http://www.blizzard.com/) so please do not trust the outside sources on this release : )"

However, I think he hinted that the game will come out, maybe next year, to PS3 or Xbox 360.. Who knows? :rolleyes:
