Damn Proxy!

Right, so here I am on an old 90's computer waiting a minute for each letter to make its way from my key-board to the moniter. Why? Because my damn laptop has stopped connecting to the internet. The router works fine and my lap-top says that it's connected but it won't let me go on my browser or connect to WoW. At first I thought it was a virus but on closer inspection I have discovered that it is the Proxy that it is the problem. Er, anyone know how to, you know, fix it?

uhm, turn off any software-based firewalls that might be interfering? Check your TCP/IP settings and make sure everything is "option ip automatically" and/or "optain dns ips automatically" or whatever?

"proxy" doesn't really help. It shouldn't effect your ability to connect to your own router =/

ipconfig /renew

I hit run and type in "ipconfig" but it opens up the window and then closes it again instantly :S
