Just because somethings cover is highly appealing, me for one fail to read the developer of the software, microsoft it read, the shop clerk wouldnt shutup about it, it was onecare, microsofts attempt to break into anti-virus once again, the clerk employed amazing jedi mind tricks before i knew it i had onecare in my car, missing 99$.

From my time of using it, it has been a decent program, does its job. Although i have a friend at a computer shop and all he tell me is the pain that onecare brings, he is telling me to convert to AVG, i know AVG is a good peice of software but do i need to uninstal Onecare and "waist" 99$ or can AVg and Onecare work in harmony? your thoughts

hmm, have you tried to install AVG free and Onecare? somehow I don't think they will both think the other is a Virus... so at least that problems solved...

Running two anti-virus products at the same time is almost always a bad idea. Personally I would just keep OneCare.

Just keep onecare until you have to buy another subscription or whatever, then drop it at switch to AVG.
