Alrighty, this has happened a few times now, I dismissed it the first time as a short time bug, but now it's happened more.
Whenever I go to edit my signature, it always gives the message:
"The following errors occurred when this message was submitted:
Your signature can not be longer than 500 characters."
I was baffled about that, as my signature had been okay many times before when I went to edit it. So I took my signature into word and had the it count the characters, and it was under 500 characters. Then I counted the characters by hand, and it was around 425ish. I managed to just delete two spaces and it worked, and I dismissed it as a temporary bug.
Now it keeps happening. The thing is, every time I edit my signature, I have to always delete a few characters.
Say I go edit my signature right now. I just click the "edit signature" link, then I press save signature. It will come up with the error message. So if I delete a few characters, then it will save the message. Now, right away, I click the edit signature link again, and then go directly to "save signature" it will display the error message.
So, basically, no matter what, whenever I go to edit my signature, it wants me to delete a few letters, even though it is well under 500 characters. Is there any way to fix this?
