an intresting thing (at least for me)

I dont realy often make grp changes, but once i decided to look throught the gpr files, then i've found the grp of the plasma shield. I saw, that there are more graphich, then we can see in the game (other facings [or view i dount know now] of the plasmashields). So i checked everything (which i can), which connected to this grp. Then i set the gfx turns for this image in images.dat. Other then a little bug (i think cous of the .exe), it showed several shield animatins depending on the direction of attacker (i meant two little bug, if i think about)...(or three). It has a little missing, the hit animation of the weapon will apear nearby the central of the attacked unit, not at the shield animagion (or maybe 4 bug). So i want to fix at least this last bug, if i can make some lo? editing (for hit animations) or if i can somhow make new ones for the weapons:

So the question is how can i assing new lo? files to images? (maybe somhow with editing the images .dat)

Please help if you can.
